HuskerDust fanfic idea 💡
In this version, redemption doesn't grant you entry in Heaven. It gives you a second chance at life so you can prove your soul changed. That given the chance to do the same mistakes, you'll choose to be better. So with this in mind, here's my ideas.
- Angel sacrifices himself to save someone from the hotel (maybe he's the one who dies instead of Sir Pentious???)
- He dies in Husk's arms (cuz I like pain)
- Husk is a mess but keeps holding on cuz he has to take care of fat nuggets
- Charlie or Lucifer eventually discovers that he got redeemed and he's living a new life on earth
- Husk starts to build himself up again. He tries to be a better man, helps more around the hotel, takes care of fat nuggets, keeps an eye on Niffty etc. He's even ready to give up on his powers even tho the fact that he didn't want to loose them was the main reason why he sold his soul.
- Husk also gets redeemed (he goes to sleep at some point, maybe injured for some reason and the next day Charlie finds Nuggets alone with Husk's bowtie on the bed)
- Life on earth, we follow Angel and Husk (Angel barman Husk movie star)
- They eventually meet each other again. They're attracted to each other and even tho they lost their memories of their time in hell, they start having weird "dreams"
- Heaven is afraid that redemption really works and that both of them will end up in heaven
- Even tho they're not allowed to interfere with humans and their destiny etc, Heaven decides to act and try to prevent Angel and Husk to get fully redeemed
- Lucifer and Charlie discover what Heaven is doing and since they broke the deal first, they can now also interfere
Possible crossover with Helluva Boss if Charlie/Lucifer decides to interfere by sending Blitz and his team to Earth. 🤷🏻
