Fun fact: Since both Crowley and Gabriel's f-words were censored out, that makes Aziraphale the only Hindi Omens character to swear. Twice.

what does crowley call aziraphale in place of angel in the hindi dubbing?
cuz i recently saw a post in which crowley calls aziraphale "mon ange" (which means my angel🥹❤️) in the french version, "meu anjo" (which also means my angel) in the portuguese and "angelito" (little angel) in spanish.

In Hindi, Crowley just calls Aziraphale "angel" (English). I guess it's cause "farishta" isn't really used as a nickname?
Season 1 Crowley sometimes calls Aziraphale "yaar" in place of "angel", but they dropped it in S2 and 3 ^^

After all, if the author is god, then canonically we can be
one of my favorite bits about good omens art is how everyone decides to interpret “gayer than a treeful of monkeys on nitrous oxide” or “dark hair and good cheekbones” differently
and mostly how almost none of these depictions of aziraphale at all resembles the one on the cover of the book, which pleases me to be honest because i rather like everyone else’s aziraphales

Unpredictable, childish, normal: how mistranslations bettered a series
Alternatively, wdym I enjoyed Hindi GO more than English GO
Hindi Omens is not the most accurate dub because they prioritise comedy over canonicity. Aziraphale swears in 1941. Crowley flirts with women. Twice.
Then, there was a bookshop at the end of time. And an angel asked a question to God.
"Why give me Crowley? Why let him be a part of my life, and then snatch him away?"
And instead of God saying Aziraphale's love for Crowley was the "messiest, silliest, most predictable thing in the universe", Hindi Omens did a Hindi Omens and mistranslated.
"Because your love for him was the most unpredictable, most childish, and the most normal thing in the universe."
Messiest. Silliest. Predictable.
Or...
Unpredictable. Childish. Normal.
And suddenly, Aziraphale's last kiss felt perfect and pure instead of a copout, because of course Aziraphale kisses like a child with a first crush. Aziraphale's love is as pure as the love of a cherub.
Of course God was so intrigued by the ineffable husbands. They were ineffable, even to Her.
And of course the love they feel for each other is normal. Said so in the language of a country that still, mostly, claims otherwise.
Three words.
Hindi Omens' final mistranslation.
And, in my eyes, the bettering of a series.
I promise, we will be <3
