Birthday Surprise!
When my daughter was around 3, her father and I broke it off. Her father moved them to Texas for work and I remained in Maine due to finances. I have been trying to move south for about two years now, and have been unable to save the funds to move. Travel cost's for visits and the everyday cost of living made it impossible. She has been asking when I'm moving down and I hate telling her we have to wait. I am trying to raise the money for me to move down before her birthday in late November!
I am hoping to raise enough to secure a safe apartment, pay for the gas to drive to Texas, and buy bed's when I arrive.
I sat down and rough calculated the cost of everything.
-Gas & tolls = Around $550-600.00
-Apartment Rent & Deposit= Around $1450.00
-Starting Utilities= Around $200.00
- 2 Bed Sets= Around $250.00
I have already begun the process securing employment when I arrive and have a few options open to me. I am unable to secure a position until I can give a start date. I'm hoping as soon as possible. The sooner I'm able to move the better for my daughter and myself!.
