Last week I didn't have a babysitter because of this I had to miss a week of work. And we all know that child care is hella expensive. So usually situation like this I would be crying confuse just plain hopeless but I wasn't I went into prayer and the word and I was calmed. This was a lesson for me and best believe that I learned a lot from this situation. This is one my reason why I will be going hard on my business so I will not be in the same situation anymore. Birthday Surprise!

When my daughter was around 3, her father and I broke it off. Her father moved them to Texas for work and I remained in Maine due to finances. I have been trying to move south for about two years now, and have been unable to save the funds to move. Travel cost's for visits and the everyday cost of living made it impossible. She has been asking when I'm moving down and I hate telling her we have to wait. I am trying to raise the money for me to move down before her birthday in late November! 

I am hoping to raise enough to secure a safe apartment, pay for the gas to drive to Texas, and buy bed's when I arrive. 

I sat down and rough calculated the cost of everything.

-Gas & tolls = Around $550-600.00

-Apartment Rent & Deposit= Around $1450.00

-Starting Utilities= Around $200.00

- 2 Bed Sets= Around $250.00

I have already begun the process securing employment when I arrive and have a few options open to me. I am unable to secure a position until I can give a start date. I'm hoping as soon as possible. The sooner I'm able to move the better for my daughter and myself!.

The Nap Battle

There's nothing more frustrating than listening to your baby fight a nap for 45 minutes. I can't stand how babies fight sleep...it's just exhausting.

Of being a mom...when you feel super sick and just want to go lay down. But you can't...because now you have this tiny human who needs you.
