Screenshots of my documentary. I really hate it please don’t look at it.

I made some postcards to sell at the exhibition from screenshots of my film. I absolutely love how they look (despite how much they cost me to print) and it will definitely be something I want to pursue in the future.

I also made a business card to hand out at the exhibition. I’d never made one before so it was fun to be able play around. I used a drawing from a character design sheet I made 2 years ago for the illustration.

This is the work I showcased on the night. I’m really happy with the lay out and I think it’s really striking.

For the exhibition there was no wall space left so 5 of us had to use easels to display our work. At first I was worried about this but it turned out really well. We used A0 foam board and I decided to use Photoshop to experiment with what I wanted to display and what layout to use. I know I wanted to showcase some Sanitree work and I really enjoyed the majority of my 10x10s. As well as this I wanted to show some of my 2 Characters work from 2 years ago as it was the first animated film I had ever made and was really proud of it. As I wasn’t able to show it anywhere I thought this would be the perfect opportunity.

This is my final animation for Sanitree. In the next few days I will meet with Bharat to work on the translations and choose some music but for now it will be silent and only have English. I’m really happy with how this turned out and I’m proud of myself for completing a large informational video myself. It took me out of my comfort zone as I usually stick to fictitious work instead of things like this and it made me much more confident in using Photoshop to key frame and completely more motion graphic types of films.

More screenshots of my work in progress. I used the vector png image of the logog instead of the jpeg at the end of the film. The guys at Sanitree loved the ending.

I think the recycled animation works well and rounds off the film nicely. I also used the new Sanitree logo I designed to finish the film off and show how the female character resembles the logo.

Part 6. I obviously recycled the beginning of the animation so that when she raises her arms in the air she resembles the Sanitree logo. I like using shortcuts.

I’m really happy with this main bulk of the film. I think it’s stylistic and informative. I think the looping and the timings are well spaced and i think it’s clear and concise. Obviously I will add the Hindi translations to the right hand side of the screen.

Screenshots of how I’ve edited the video in Premier Pro. I rendered the parts out individually using Photoshop as it would have taken a long time to export it all at once due to the complexity of the layers. I then pieced it together using this program.

Part 4. This is where the main bulk of the information they told me to include was added afterwards.

Part 3. This part of the video raised some issues - I have rendered out an English only version as there was some trouble with the Hindi translations. My computer didn’t support a font specifically for the Hindi characters and so some of the translations weren’t coming out accurately. Bharat and I decided to meet up in person and work on them together.

A lot of the rest of the film is key frame animation which made it very easy to complete, I just had to be thoughtful about timings.

Part 2. I really enjoyed making this particular scene. The animation is very simple yet lovely.
