ETV Terevisioon will have live broadcast from Finnish Embassy from 6.55 to 8.55.

Finnish flag(s) will fly in front of the Office of the President of the Republic of Estonia

In Tallinn:

Seat of the Goverment of Estonia will be illuminated in Finnish flag colours

Finland’s Independence Day Church Service in St Michael’s Swedish Church at 10.00.

Laying of wreaths at the memorial of the Finnish Boys at the Tallinna Metsakalmistu from 11.30, orchestra and guard of honour will be present.

White-and-blue fireworks display at 21.15 in the town centre

in Tartu:

Theatre Vanemuine will be illuminated in Finnish flag colours

The Tartu Town Hall bells will play “Finlandia” at 12.00. Finnish flags and choir will be present.

Honourary Consul Verni Loodmaa will make a speech.

All in all, Finnish Independence Day will be celebrated with over 20 events all across in Estonia over the course of 2 weeks.
