Kaidren much like many of his other siblings know how to put a cork in the feels bottle until unshelved at a more convenient time or not at all. It is not socially accepted of his social stature to fall apart or lash out the moment he begins to feel something. It's likely why everyone thinks we Holts are cold and calculating people, we come off curt, to the point, somewhat brazen or cold but we all have feelings at the end of the day.

Kaidren already lost his wife Allison, their son Cassian, and their unborn child in a tragic and murderous attack on his family a few years ago. He copes by keeping busy and fighting for the Alliance.

I am pretty sure Kaidren enjoys the fc and flattering physique I have created for him. I don't believe he would change anything as he works to maintain it.

Gender roles have their time and place. Does he conform, yes a little. He straddles the line of modern and traditional but he is very supportive of his sisters or other women who have other ambitions besides the norm.

His favorite flower would be Orchids. They're visually pleasing and smell nice.

"I like to think my relationship with my siblings is fairly strong, I feel as though I am relatable and relaxed when they come to me to manage their...issues. I feel I get along best with my youngest sister, Rinoha, but again I get along well with nearly all of them."

Mac’s Writing Challenge: Keepsakes

For generations the Holt Family Sigil ring has been passed down to the eldest son of the eldest son. In our family the eldest son of the previous generation was my father, the late Lord Darcassian Holt to which he passed on the ring to my eldest brother, Lord Natharen Holt.

My brother has long been wed to his duties within the Alliance Military and has been largely absent both in the past and present thus relinquishing his duty as Head of House to me. However I much like my brother and our uncles before and grandfather before that, have all given our services to the Alliance Military, myself the Navy. I had been summoned to secure survivors from the Broken Isles and those who required immediate medical care aboard my fleet; during such time one of my cousins thought to challenge me for the seat.

Neither party won in that endeavor as my sister, Duchess Adhelin Faircrest, took it upon herself to hold the station as well as Matriarch given the divide the challenge had caused. Shortly there after my cousin and his wife along with their men departed. I believe my sister felt a grace period was necessary so as to not play favorites, but I have since reacquired the sigil ring and will gladly accept any challenge my cousins deem fit to bring my way.
