“Lady Tanaka, it.. seems that a new batch of products from one of the other facilities has arrived, but one of them is attempting to go rogue and causing havoc. The personnel dispatched are having a difficult time subduing it, and I’m unfortunately still here at a scheduled business meeting with another one of our clients.”

“According to the records, it’s from the same person who has been working on the artificial ‘Narehate’ Quirk for quite some time. He claims that it’s the most successful one yet---even surpassing Prototype V-0119-400, the one that went missing among many others from the infiltrated facility we demolished. The only issue is that it’s in critical need of ‘discipline’...”

“Mm.. understood, Lady Tanaka. I’ll go on ahead and prepare some reinforcements. They can be dispatched at any time by your command.”

“Possible new target acquired. Strong fire quirk user, a good addition to our collection. Prepare a holding cell.”

“Of course, Lady Tanaka. Preparations shall be executed at once.”

“Unfortunately, no information was able to be gained via interrogation before the subject lost consciousness. I have left her in the care of medical staff and am awaiting her return to the waking world. Interrogation will continue immediately.”

“Be advised that the facility has been placed on lockdown and nobody is to come or go, no external doors are to be opened. Punishment will be swift and without mercy.”

“I’ve attempted to extract more information out of the trespasser we’ve apprehended for you, Lady Tanaka. It would seem that Hirose Yayoi, 3rd-year UA high school student, is intent on seeking vengeance for the UA student we captured that she freed last year. It’s possible she aims to bring the whole organization down one facility at a time, too. According to records, her father is also a teacher in UA, as well as a former pro hero. Should we keep hold of her as captive for an extended period of time, it may alert the public enough for pro heroes to get involved.”

“..Also, the public records on her Quirk is now outdated. Her time in UA must have improved her abilities, because she’s now capable of generating wires strong enough to lift over ten tons. She might not even need to physically direct them, because even without her limbs, she is still able to make use of her Quirk.” 

“I recommend utilizing iron deficiency in your interrogations, Lady Tanaka. The interrogation chamber is being prepared accordingly as we speak.”

Yayoi feigned surprise at the sudden appearance of the security agents. If these people were crazy enough to kidnap a UA student, then of course they’d hold onto someone who just walked right up to them.

“H-hey! What are you doing?” She struggled a little, underselling her strength by a great deal.

“Quit struggling, you’re only making this more difficult for yourself.” First there was a pack of gum, and then came the phone and asthma inhaler. All three found, and all three confiscated just to make sure there weren’t any hidden compartments. Yayoi’s struggling only made the security agents put more force in getting her to comply. Further and further in, they finally brought her to the reserved containment unit.

And there, Agent Usa stood there waiting with a scientist for the Quirk analysis.

Kanna bowed to greet Lady Tanaka, only to straight up and make eye contact with Yayoi. Deep down, a sinking feeling dropped in the pit of her stomach. Why was she here again? What is she trying to do now?

“..Please refrain from struggling, miss. As soon as we get things sorted out, the better we can help you.” The agent nodded her head, and the scientist brought out a syringe as he approached Yayoi.

“Trespasser apprehended. Claimed to be lost, but a snooping UA student if I had to guess. Requesting backup to move her to containment. Schedule a quirk analysis.”

A UA student? It can’t be... Kanna stareed at the alert she’d also just received from Lady Tanaka. She’s not sure if it’d be wise to show herself to the person she helped infiltrate the facility she was just thinking about.

“..Understood, Lady Tanaka. Alerting personnel to come to your aid with a quirk analysis scheduled to follow.”

“Trespasser apprehended. Claimed to be lost, but a snooping UA student if I had to guess. Requesting backup to move her to containment. Schedule a quirk analysis.”

“Mm.. it’s concerning to know that someone’s found yet another one of our facilities... I’m certain the corporation is beginning to lose its touch...” 

Agent Usa turned to enter into a secluded room, where a single individual was being kept suspended in the air under stasis inside of a glass sphere. He was young, probably no older than fifteen, and was the security’s mainframe back in the facility that Yayoi and her friends brought to ruins. All just to rescue a UA student they’d captured. Because they were forced to demolish that facility, they’d lost so many subjects that have either escaped or expired in the self-destruction... Perhaps it’s the reason why even the council is beginning to take some action. They can’t afford to overlook any more leniency.

..She sighed, not quite sure why this was coming back to mind now of all times. Her eyes kept glued to the unconscious individual.

“..You shouldn’t have come back here, Hakku..”

“Security breach. Somebody’s wandered into my web. Usa-san, please stand by. I should be able to handle this.”

“That may be necessary,  Usa-san. I’ve been intercepted by a fire user, I will not be able to get near enough to incapacitate.”

A fire user. Handling someone with a fire-related Quirk isn’t going to be easy, but sadly it seems that Agent Usa was the only person capable of reacting in favorable time.

“..I understand. If possible, please bring the target to an enclosed area. The more cramped, the better. Yuki and I will be there at once the second we get the coordinates.”

"I have encountered trouble and may not be able to bring an intact specimen. I did, however, obtain blood samples - her quirk will not be lost to us, even if she is."

Trouble, huh...? “Understood, Lady Tanaka. Should the situation prove itself formidable, I am ready to provide opportunity for a clean retreat at any moment.”
