It never really occurred to him, now that he thought of it, but that kid’s always sitting there at that park bench within the Heights Alliance dorms, isn’t he...? Not to mention, he’s always seen people avoid the student like a plague... That didn’t feel right to Midoriya, especially when it sort of reminded him of himself back in middle school. Finally mustering up the courage, he decided to go up to him if just to get a comforting shoulder.

Ah yes, the short-fused bomb boy. The same, prickly, sparky-sparky-boom boy with quite a reputation at this point here in UA. To this day, she honestly sorta wishes to see how different things would’ve been if he’d gone against her team in their classes’ joint training exercise. Monoma was one reason why, though Shinsou was also the other.
... There’s also the fact that she’s been wanting to see just how intense those explosions were. She’s gotta figure what kind of material she’d need against it at the ready, after all. A useful reference should she ever have to encounter situations against explosions as intense as a dynamite itself.
