Last year I had the pleasure of animating on the documentary "You Had To Be There" (believe it or not that's the shortened title) directed by Nick Davis, about the 1972 Canadian musical presentation of Godspell played by little known actors like Martin Short, Gilda Radner, Eugene Levy, etc! The musical wasn't filmed, but audio exists, and the animation fills out what was missing in an often surreal style. The animation director want it to look like it was made in the 70's to reflect the time period. I am at another impass. One job ended a few weeks ago, and another unexpectedly ended this week. I am looking at no major jobs for me except one-shot drawing commissions. :( This is during the first year of my life where I am forced to pay marketplace health insurance premiums out of my own pocket without financial aide or unemployment or tax credits.
