I’ve tried to articulate this before but I just love that Xehanort really harbors no resentment towards Kairi. I mean, undoubtedly he uses her, but compared to how he treats the rest of the cast he praises her way more and never really insults her that I can remember. It’s just really good angst when she’s trying to show how much she resents him and he doesn’t reflect that sentiment back at her at all. Genuinely I just think she amuses him and I find that perfect.

Btw I don't think we in the Kingdom Hearts fandom talk enough about the fact that Kairi watched Sora die in front of her twice now.

Idk I feel like a lot of her behavior in kh2 and kh2 could be read as a response to her doing that in the first time.
