No Time for Sick Days I OPEN
This was not the day to be sick. She hadn't been sick in over a year now and now was not the day that she let her immune system get the better of her. She blinked once, hoping the world would go back into focus and would stop spinning. There was a long day ahead of her. She took the rag, scrubbing down the counters with as much energy as she could force out (meaning slowly and tiredly) and longed for the comfort of her sweet, sweet bed.Â
She heard the door chime alerting her of a customer and immediately forced a smile to her face. "Welcome," She said with a faked smile. "Anything I can do for you?" Usually this came off as flirty but now it just sounded almost monotone.Â
