A European hornet/Vespa crabro/bålgeting enjoying a feast of canary melon. European hornets are skilled predators that hunt a wide variety of large insects, helping to keep their populations in check. They also feed on ripe fruit, nectar and tree sap, making sweet treats like this canary melon hard to resist. Despite their intimidating appearance, European hornets are remarkably non-aggressive towards people and will almost always ignore us unless they feel threatened or their nest is disturbed. If you encounter one, simply stay calm and take a moment to admire one of Europe's most beautiful insects. Värmland, Sweden (1 August 2019).

wow wtf when did my cozy slice of life domestic comic turn into straight up horror

so yeah, this one took a long time!! i wanted to get really experimental with the art in this chapter to really capture the nightmare vibe and I hope I pulled it off. i'm pretty proud of the puppet sequence - it was fun stylizing the characters like that (they're sort of equal parts inspired by the Witches from Madoka Magica and the Oingo Boingo art style from JJBA), and the whole thing is kinda-sorta based on a dream i had years ago about an orchestra of paper dolls performing in a dark, reddish theater, and if they ever stopped playing the world would end, or something?

this next experiment is going to be very interesting indeed....

Guess who's been bullied to get back into deltarune aha... thats right, its me, and ngl i couldn't be happier. Holy fuck i forgot how much i love this game and these characters. I freakin love gerson, he's 100% one of my faves. Love a crazy old ass man!! I did a few iterations of him but i rlly liked the box turtle design but the alligator snapping turtle design was fun too

Apolocheese for dropping off of the face of the earth. It will happen again. I have begun going to therapy!! So maybe one day i will be more consistent like before. I am currently focusing on my health above all else so that i dont die or something crazy like that /silly
