Asgore Dreemurr
Often goes on walks throughout the Catacombs and teaches history at the local academy. He is a well known monster among its inhabitants.
Though he's not an official leader, as the oldest around most monsters within Hometown defer to Asgore when a problem arises or an issue can't be resolved on its own.
Enjoys gardening. Thanks to his cultivating efforts, well-kept plants and flowers occupy every area of the Catacombs. Greenery flourishes in even hidden nooks and crannies.
He teaches you the mechanics of encounters and encourages you to resolve things in a non violent manner. There's no need to fight without due cause. After all, it's better to settle things over a nice cup of tea. Who knows? You might even make a new friend.
Desires to see no harm befall you. When he makes a decision, the path he takes is paved with his best intentions. Whether it's the right decision is another story. He simply... does not want to hurt anyone.
He's lived through a lot, seen much of the world, heard many tales of the surface above and knows about the remainder of the Underground. Perhaps it would be better if you decided not to leave?

Runs a snail farm business but their true passion is entertaining others. They dream of becoming a star and a big shot.
Would like to be an actor but they view themself as a nobody. They don't believe in their talent to stand on their own and fully pursue their goals.
