Sometimes I really do think they sent the prop and wardrobe dept to the nearest charity shop with like £20 and told them to make it work.

(Although, maybe Michael bought her that cup to inject some whimsy in her life and so she begrudgingly uses it because it makes her think of him. I know it's a reach but I already don't want to watch this thang.)

It’s dumb and I haven’t had my take in this fandom about a year. But the way I rationalize it to feel better is tha actually she likes the straw because it distracts her. Sometimes when I’m really sad & guilty, I let myself out onto my balcony where it’s cold in little but a tshirt. I let myself feel guilty as I play music as cluttered as my insides, shivering and feeling freezing in my bones until I’m sure I’ll get sick. Until I’m sure the guilt is right and I’m paying the pain forward unto myself.
