Even if she never really managed to make it to a performance in person. She, and Viola her sister, always watched on television and voted appropriately. “How is your preparation for the next performance going?”

“So Professor, Viola wanted me to tell you that your newest recruit thrashed her gym. Okay, so she wasn’t too thrilled at me having to tell you.” Apparently losing wasn’t so fantastic! “But, yeah, it happened. Do you want me to give out the EXP Share as planned?”

“I’m more than just a pretty face, you know. I’m tougher than I look and my Noivern will prove it. Come on then, big shot. Come at me.” Don’t do it - Noivern will rip you to sheds. He’s a power house that loves spicy berries and has temper tantrums till he gets them.

“You bet Gym Leader Viola? Really, already? Wow - imagine that. So, how’d my baby sister take the loss?”

He swung the Camera from his neck to hand over to the reporter with an eager look on his face. Seems like he caught a good picture ready to ramble on.

 “You can take a look ! I actually caught a glimpse of the Legendary Mew! So now people can say ‘Mew is real!’ If my calculations are correct Mew being a Psychic pokemon. Mew does not evolve into Mewtwo. They are two different things. Hate when people say that. Because that is not true. Anywaaaays, that is my biggest capture yet!”

The reporter’s fingers twitched. Her eyes widened.

She took the camera carefully but she could have choked. “Mew, you say? Mew.” Naturally she had, of course, heard of the marvel. She had never seen any documented pictures of the mythical Pokemon from anyone that she knew. This was a first. She had only seen pictures of what people assumed were mew. But, she scanned through the camera and saw the picture of the pink legend. “Oh Arceus, it’s true. This – this is big news – Trevor, have you thought about going to the press about this? If this was put into a journal then you’d be showing everyone that Mew is actually real.”

“Hey there, Trevor!” The Journalist caught sight of her carrotheaded friend and gave a wave. She was standing with her Helioptile and Gogoat (a big surprise?) as they were taking a break from researching for a big story. “How are your photos coming along?” She couldn’t help but be excited. She loved hearing about everything that the younger trainer discovered and photographed. He could easily be a photographer for the Gazette if he tried!
