Visiting Kimono “A myriad of colors (A Thousand Shades of Purple, Ten Thousand Shades of Red)” by Hiroyuki Kikuta

Within the silhouettes of wisteria branches, each dyed a different shade, I selected 11 varieties of purple flowers—those I have particularly enjoyed depicting—and arranged them along the large, vertical curves of the kimono’s silhouette.
