“Already?” Kamden quirked an eyebrow. “I feel like I just got here.” Probably because he did. “Well, what was in it?”

“why would anyone ever reject uno?” the blonde chuckled, sitting down next to him and dipping one leg into the pool, sitting down on the other crossed beneath her. “if it makes you feel any better, if i was on that flight i totally would’ve played uno with you,” she smiled, turning to take a look at the blond next to her.

“that’s what i’m wondering!” kamden exclaimed as the girl sat next to him. when she put one leg in the pool, he considered doing it himself because it was so hot. but he decided to wait for a little bit. the heat from the area surrounding the pool actually felt kinda nice. “that actually does make me feel better,” kamden grinned. “would you play with me right now?” he hummed, almost challenging the girl to see if she was telling the truth.

Ian smiled at the guy and sat beside him. “I don’t know how anyone could say no to that face.” He let his legs dangle in the water and couldn’t help but look the guy up and down. “Besides, Uno is fantastic. Not quite as good as Rummy, but still great.” 

That face? Kamden couldn’t help but chuckle, slightly unsure of what to even say to that. It sounded like something his mother would say to him, but coming from a guy his age, he knew it had to have meant something different. “You’d be surprised,” he laughed. “She didn’t really seem to struggle with saying no to me. But I know, right? Uno is a classic.” Turning to look at the male, he tilted his head. “You know, I’ve never actually played Rummy.”

“the girl who was sitting next to me on the plane ride here didn’t want to play uno with me and it honestly took me off guard,” kamden stated as he sat at the edge of the pool. “like, i guess maybe i shouldn’t have assumed that someone would play a game with me. especially considering she was a stranger, but how do you not like uno???”
