Author’s Note: It’s so short I know 🥲 but I’m working on a lot of other requests and series so bear with me. This is just a teaser of what actress Kamilah could look like in my fics.

‘Ms. Sayeed?’ The director asked, his eyes scanning the set before they fell on the brunette sitting before him, her back turned to him.

She raised her hand slightly, taking a small sip of the cappuccino in her other hand. ‘That’s me.’

She stood, straightening her green silk blouse as she turned to face the director. The blouse revealed her sharp collarbone and a teasing amount of her chest, only because she adorned a beautiful silver Bvlgari necklace.

Her blouse was tucked into a smart pair of black suit pants, a little loose and flowy on the legs which helped her look even taller in her tan heels.

‘We’re ready for you, Ms. Sayeed.’

She smiled curtly, adjusting the jade green Bvlgari bracelets she wore before following the man to the set.

‘Action!’

Kamilah leant on the marble balcony of the set, the camera zooming in on the jewelry she adorned. She turned her attention to the package in front of her, opening it to reveal a silver diamond ring, courtesy of Bvlgari of course.

She slid the ring on her finger, the diamonds dazzling as the sun’s rays angled it perfectly.

The camera then cut to the next scene where she wore a full length black gown, her hair in an elegant high ponytail that left her bangs exposed. This time she wore rose gold jewelry.

She was clearly in a ballroom, her eyes catching Amy’s as the woman glided across the ballroom floor in a mesmerizing dance.

Kamilah asked Amy for a dance, La Noche by Salvatore Adamo playing softly in the background of the shot. They waltzed elegantly together, the expensive jewelry on their bodies glistening under the glass chandeliers.

Amy whispered in Kamilah’s ear, so softly that even the camera didn’t pick up what she said. She then took hold of Kamilah’s hand, guiding her outside of the elegant building and towards the limo parked on the set.

The camera then paused on Kamilah as she stopped, momentarily, gazing up at the camera as she smirked.

‘Bvlgari, be bold.’

The couple then entered the limo together as the camera zoomed out of focus.

Amy stirred slowly in the bedsheets, opening her eyes to find the space beside her empty. She lifted her head onto Kamilah’s pillow, gently burrowing her face there. She smiled at the lavender scent before deciding against sleeping in.

She found Kamilah in the kitchen preparing breakfast, a delicious feast of pancakes, fried eggs, fresh fruits and a small cucumber and tomato salad.

Amy smiled as she wrapped her arms around Kamilah’s body, basking in the warmth she offered.

‘Morning Kami.’

‘Good morning, my love. How are you feeling?’ Kamilah turned and cupped Amy’s cheeks, visibly concerned.

‘Don’t worry. I feel fine.’ Amy kissed Kamilah’s palms before hugging her again. Kamilah held Amy gently, resting her chin atop her head as she closed her eyes.

‘We should tell your parents, Amy. They would certainly want to know if their daughter was expecting a child.’

Kamilah’s hand fell to Amy’s stomach, gently cupping it through the fabric of her tshirt as she watched Amy ponder the thought.

‘You’re right. Maybe we can make a trip down to go and see them, if you aren’t busy.’

Kamilah smiled softly, booping her nose against Amy’s. ‘I’m never too busy for you. Plus, I’ve decided to take the full nine months off work.’

‘Nine months!?’ Amy’s jaw dropped, prompting Kamilah to chuckle lightly.

‘Do you really think I’d leave you alone for all that time?’

‘Well, I… but you’re work-‘

‘My work will never be as important to me as my family, Amy. I want you to remember that.’

Amy couldn’t help but grin and nod. ‘Will do, boss.’

After a month or so, the couple decided that they would fly down to Florida to meet them. Of course, they had met Kamilah before at the wedding. Kamilah had asked if it was okay for her and Amy to stay with them for a few weeks, as the couple wanted to take a ‘vacation’. Her parents naturally agreed, eagerly awaiting their arrival.

Kamilah wouldn’t accept no for an answer as she booked two first-class tickets. Amy wasn’t used to traveling in such luxury, so she begged Kamilah to buy the regular economy tickets.

Kamilah hefted their suitcases on the compartment above their heads, Amy getting settled in her seat.

‘The reason I didn’t want to buy economy seats isn’t because I wanted to show off or be fancy,’ she sat on the seat beside Amy, and gently pecked her lips ‘it’s because I want you to be comfortable. And I know economy is the polar opposite of that, no matter what you say.’

Amy chuckled and tucked a loose strand of hair behind her own ear. ‘You’re right, so right.’ Kamilah simply smiled and kissed Amy again as they got settled for the flight.

The flight time was scheduled for roughly three hours, non stop from JFK airport to Tampa. Within an hour of taking off, Amy felt herself growing needier by the second.

She looked over at Kamilah who was tucked in a blanket, eagerly watching her favorite tv show, House of Cards.

Amy leant over the divider slightly, her eyes watching Kamilah’s screen as the two characters began to kiss and undress each other. She slipped her hand under the blanket that covered Kamilah and began unzipping her pants.

Kamilah’s head snapped to Amy before gazing around the cabin. ‘Amy, they might hear me…’

Amy smirked and traced Kamilah’s slit through her underwear with her middle finger, trailing it up to her clit.

‘Then you better be quiet.’ Kamilah closed her eyes and hummed, laying her head back as Amy slipped her hand past the underwear. Gosh, she felt so cheeky. She felt like torturing Kamilah as much as she could.

Amy watched Kamilah’s face as she circled her clit, relishing in the way Kamilah’s breathing hitched as soon as she made contact. Amy lightly trailed circles on her bud, before trailing her finger back down to Kamilah’s wet core.

She gently laid her cheek on Kamilah’s shoulder as she pushed a finger into her wife’s core. Amy grinned happily as Kamilah squirmed in her chair a touch, trying to be quiet.

Amy let her hot breath graze Kamilah’s neck before adding another finger, setting a slow but steady pace. She replaced the teasing breaths with soft kisses as Kamilah bit her lip hard enough to draw blood.

She couldn’t help but let out a soft groan as Amy quickened the pace, as she was rewarded with a soft nip on her neck from Amy.

If pregnancy had changed anything in Amy, it would be her newfound appreciation for Kamilah’s neck. The way her skin was so smooth there, the way that her muscles were so taught yet feminine. The way her jaw was oh so perfectly sculpted.

Amy couldn’t get enough.

‘Habibti, I’m close…’ Kamilah bucked her hips slightly as she felt her climax fast approaching. Amy kept her pace and began littering her wife’s neck in wet kisses, forming hickies wherever her lips touched.

Moments later, Kamilah peaked. She gripped the handle of the seat as she came, barely holding back enough strength to not break it. She managed to stay quiet, only letting out a soft breath as Amy retracted her fingers.

Amy grinned slyly, sucking on her fingers as she relished in the way Kamilah’s eyes followed her mouth intently.

Thankfully, fatigue consumed Amy before she could start on round two. She awoke only to the firm thud of the aircraft as the wheels made contact with the ground.

She looked around, her hair disheveled slightly as she blinked rapidly, adjusting to the sunlight. Kamilah gently took Amy’s hand and kissed her palm, smiling gently. ‘You look so beautiful when you’re groggy like this.’

Amy snorted, chuckling slightly. ‘You think I’m gorgeous even when I do nothing.’

‘It’s the truth.’ Kamilah’s voice softened with her gaze, kissing Amy’s palm once more as their eyes met. ‘You’re perfect to me, no matter what. And I’ll always love you, Amy.’

‘I hope you know the same goes for you. I’ll always love you, Kamilah.’ Amy smiled back, planting a soft kiss on her wife’s cheek before they got ready to exit the plane.

Kamilah loaded the suitcases into the trunk of the car as Amy perched herself in the passenger seat, snacking on a bag of chips she bought earlier. She eyed the interior of the car, nodding to herself as Kamilah got into the driver’s side.

‘I must admit, this car is beautiful.’ Kamilah said as she stroked the leather of her seat and the wheel.

‘I never would have imagined YOU liking an SUV. You give off black Mercedes sports car vibes.’

Kamilah laughed, starting the car as the engine revved. Amy blushed to herself as she saw the way Kamilah’s eyes crinkled as she laughs, subtle wrinkles appearing at the corners of her eyes and lips. It made her look so ethereal.

‘Well, we’ve got a family to think about now. Perhaps it’s time we got something like this.’

‘Perhaps.’

Kamilah began following the directions as Amy watched the scenery from the front windshield. Tall palm trees lined each side of the highway, the coast not far either.

Amy looked down at her stomach, a noticeable bulge appearing through her clothes now. She smiled, stroking the fabric there softly. Instinctively, she took Kamilah’s hand and replaced it with her own.

Kamilah briefly glanced at Amy, then at her belly before gazing at the road happily. She let her warm palm and fingers stroke the bump soothingly, in a circular pattern.

It wasn’t long before they turned into a gated community and parked in the driveway of a gorgeous villa.

….

After dinner, Kamilah and Amy were with either parent.

Amy was with her mother in the living room, both perched on the sofa comfortably. ‘How is she?’

‘Who, Kamilah?’

‘Of course Kamilah, silly girl. Does she treat you well? Because if she doesn’t-‘

‘Mama, please.’ Amy chuckled softly, hiding her mouth behind her hand. ‘She treats me like I’m an angel. Like I’m a godsend. She protects me and loves me and cares for me in a way that I’ve never seen anyone do before. Sometimes, it feels like I don’t even feel worthy of having someone so perfect.’

‘Oh my sweet…’

Amy’s mother wrapped her arms tightly around Amy, giving a warm squeeze. ‘You both deserve everything this world has to offer and more. It’s clear how important you are to her, and vice versa. I hope, wish, and pray, that this love continues for the rest of your lives.’

‘She’s everything I’d ever need and want, Mama. I love her so much for that.’

Amy gave her mother a reassuraing squeeze back, her eyes meeting her wife’s from across the room. Kamilah shot her a cheeky wink, grinning slightly at the bright blush that appeared on Amy’s face.

Amy’s father turned back to Kamilah, two glasses of bourbon in his hands.

‘Care to join me outside? I’d love to show you the patio setup.’

‘I’d like that.’ Kamilah took a glass and followed her father-in-law outside. They both got seated on the outdoor sofas as Amy’s father lit the round fireplace in the center of the sofas.

‘So, I know the little one isn’t here yet but… would you ever consider having more children?’

Kamilah smiled softly before swallowing the bourbon, the liquid burning her throat slightly.

‘As long as Amy wanted it as well, then I’d love to have more children. I didn’t see it before, but children really are a blessing.’

‘That they are. And I know you both are gonna make beautiful babes!’

‘Dad! Don’t be so weird!’ Amy exclaimed, hiding her face in her hands from embarrassment.

‘You both are gorgeous ladies, how is that weird?’ He grinned as his daughter blushed harder.

‘It’s alright, darling. Your father’s right.’ Kamilah stood as Amy gently drew a heart on her back with a finger. That was their ‘secret’ signal that Amy was tired and wanted to leave.

‘If it’s okay with you both, I think we’re gonna hit the hay.’ Amy hugged both her parents, Kamilah following suit before they retired to their room.

‘Was this your old room?’ Kamilah eagerly scanned the walls, walls that were adorned with Amy’s photos and various items from her childhood.

‘Yup. It was my room up until I moved to New York.’ She followed Kamilah, gently placing her chin on Kamilah’s shoulder as they searched the photos together.

‘I still remember all of this like it was yesterday. My old blanket, my teddy, the plants I grew in this room and all the friends I had over for sleepovers.’

‘It won’t be long now before our little one is making those memories, too.’ Kamilah kissed Amy’s knuckles and changed into her pajamas, gently falling on the bed as Amy continued to look.

‘Have you thought of any names?’

Kamilah paused, before adjusting her reading glasses on. ‘A couple.’ She opened a book about parenting and began reading intently.

‘Well, care to share?’ Amy jumped in beside her, all snug in her pajamas. She instantly latched onto Kamilah, desperate for cuddles.

‘For starters, if it’s a girl, then Aliyah, Amal or Daliah. If it’s a boy, then Kareem or Khalid.’ Kamilah laid an arm around Amy as she continued reading, silently.

Amy grinned as she said the names aloud. ‘Well this sucks because I love all of those.’

Kamilah smirked cheekily, setting the book aside as she took off her glasses.

‘Well, then we better get busy so we can have all those babies to name…’

Her lips descended on Amy’s neck gently as Amy squealed happily, playfully trying to pull away from Kamilah.

They ended up in a tickle fight, as they rolled around on the bed in a fit of giggles. Kamilah had Amy pinned beneath her, as they both erupted in laughter once more.

‘Come on you, we really should get some sleep. Knowing mom and dad, they’ll want to take us everywhere on this trip.’

Amy kissed Kamilah’s lips before cozying up in the covers again, prompting Kamilah to do the same.

‘I don’t mind, it’s cute.’

‘Mm, you’re cute, Mrs Sayeed.’ Amy wrapped Kamilah’s arms around her body as she snuggled back into Kamilah’s warmth, her own arms over Kamilah’s.

‘So are you, my gorgeous wife. I love you.’

‘I love you too.’

Kamilah nestled her face in the back of Amy’s neck as they turned in for the night, unaware of what chaos would ensue tomorrow.

It was well past 9 in the morning as Lady Nahid checked the clock, sighing into her tea mug. Everyone was gathered around the dining table enjoying breakfast, except Kamilah.

She must’ve had a long night.

Lady Nahid excused herself from the table, quietly walking towards Kamilah’s bedroom before she opened the door, silently.

Kamilah slept face-down, her thick duvet laying just under her shoulders as her arms were beside her pillow.

She definitely had a long night.

Nahid smiled, gently perching herself on the empty side of the bed, resting her cane against the nightstand.

She could tell how exhausting her daughter’s day had been by the way she slept. It was something small she noticed about Kamilah, deciding against sharing it with anyone.

She lifted her legs onto the bed slowly, relaxing instantly as she melted into the pillow. Kamilah stirred at the movement, her fingers twitching in her sleep.

Kamilah’s mother faced her as she began to gently play with her daughter’s silky hair. Her fingers worked deeper into her locks, eventually to Kamilah’s scalp as she began massaging with deft fingers.

Kamilah smiled, humming softly. ‘Ummi.’ She turned over slowly as she was met with her mother’s smiling face.

‘Ta’a, ya dammi.’

Kamilah gently kissed her mother’s cheek before lying her head on the woman’s chest, cautiously not applying too much pressure. Nahid’s arms instinctively wrapped around her daughter, her fingers finding Kamilah’s shoulders and neck this time she offered a massage.

‘What’s troubling you, my precious?’

Kamilah’s eyes fluttered shut at the touch as the tension began to release from her body. ‘Ummi I’m okay, I promise.’

Nahid only shook her head, kissing her daughter’s forehead earnestly before lying back down. ‘You know you can lie to anyone, but me. You don’t have to hold it inside with me.’

‘It’s how I grieve. Or, at least how I try to grieve. You know how I loathe being a burden.’

‘You could never be a burden on me, on this family, Kamilah. You’re what holds us together.’

‘Only because I’m strong for everyone. I can’t afford to let my grief, my emotions be this family’s downfall.’

Kamilah rose from the covers, resting quietly at the edge of the bed. Nahid knew better than to argue. Her daughter was right, in a way. She was the glue that held everyone together, the glue that held the peace and stability they needed.

As much as it pained her to see her daughter suppress her emotions this way, it was for the betterment of everyone, and Kamilah knew that. Nahid knew she could handle it. That’s why she was the one running the operations.

‘Just remember that I’m here for you. I’m your mother. Someone who you can rely on for anything and everything that you need and want. You’re far stronger than you realize, Kamilah, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be fragile too.’

Nahid lifted herself out of bed as she grabbed her cane once more. Kamilah kissed her mother’s knuckles as a sign of respect, understanding her mother’s message.

‘Breakfast is inside once you’re ready.’

‘I won’t be long.’ Kamilah smiled at her mother as the woman left, leaving Kamilah to her thoughts. She quickly freshened up and got changed into a navy blue Polo cardigan with white chinos.

‘Good morning.’

Her presence snatched the attention of everyone in the room as they all returned her greeting. Kamilah turned her focus to Cam, who was quietly eating cereal. She gently ruffled the girls hair before kissing the top of her head, Nahid smiling eagerly as she watched on. ‘Hello there, gorgeous.’

Cam suddenly went shy as she looked at a grinning Kamilah, bowing her head and smiling a touch herself.

‘Kamilah, when will you settle down with a woman and give me another adorable child like this?’

Nahid beckoned Cam onto her lap as she began feeding the young girl chocolates.

Kamilah pursed her lips for a moment, her gaze flicking to Amy before falling on her mother. ‘Well, I suppose when the time is right, when I meet the perfect person.’

Amy lifted her gaze and narrowed her eyes, grinning. ‘Odd, you don’t strike me as a children person.’

Kamilah bit into a cucumber as she stared back, intensely. ‘You don’t know anything about me, Amy.’

‘I don’t, but you just don’t give off that vibe.’

Kamilah ate silently in response, imagining what it would be like to have a family to call her own.

Mona spoke up this time, struggling to contain her laughter. ‘Can you imagine Kamilah changing diapers?’

She burst out into laughter as soon as she uttered the words, Nahid cracking a smile with Amy. Kamilah just shook her head, amused.

‘You underestimate me. Dirty diapers are nothing.’

Mona opened her mouth to speak, but Nahid spoke first.

‘Kamilah would make an excellent mother. Tough, but loving. Considerate and compassionate. When she loves, she loves genuinely and wholeheartedly, so whoever she ends up with, I envy her good fortune.’

Kamilah smiled, kissing her mother’s knuckles once more. ‘At least one of you is on my side.’

‘Yeah yeah, get a wife first Kami.’ Mona rolled her eyes, still laughing a little.

Suddenly, Kamilah stiffened. Her jaw tensed along with her shoulders. It was as if she was remembering something painful. ‘You know I tried.’

Amy’s eyes widened.

‘Wait, you were married before?!’

Kamilah sighed, placing her fork down onto the table. ‘If you would even call it a marriage.’ She took a long sip of the tea in front of her, eyes on Amy.

‘Oh. Was she a bitch from hell?’

Kamilah smirked slightly behind the mug, resetting to her stoic face as she set the cup down.

‘You could say that.’

‘Is it rude if I ask for details?’ Amy bit her lip as she tried to hide her grin behind it, excited for the juicy gossip.

Kamilah pursed her lips once more. ‘I’d rather not-‘

‘Oh, allow ME to tell this story.’ Mona cracked her knuckles as she sat up straighter. Kamilah immediately shot her an icy glare as her sister began recounting the story.

‘It wasn’t a love marriage, more like a… agreement. Between two warring families. The only way to keep the peace was a union, so Kamilah and the family’s daughter married.’

‘Wait wait wait’ Amy interrupted ‘why were they fighting?’

Mona grinned. ‘Land. What else would it be?’

Amy nodded, obviously eager to hear more. ‘Right, continue continue.’

‘So, you can probably deduce that the two clashed, a lot. They both were strong minded, determined, passionate individuals whose values were completely opposite. They fought and fought and fought and ugh, it was so annoying. It was non stop arguing in the house for weeks. Somehow, they put aside their differences and decided to make it work, one way or another. So they tried for a baby…’

Kamilah cringed, sipping her tea once more. ‘Mona we really can skip this-‘

‘Oh no, I’m not done.’ Mona grinned cheekily, sending Kamilah a subtle wink.

‘Which… never happened because Kamilah’s wife was taking contraceptives. Behind Kami’s back, of course. So obviously sis was pissed because they were trying for so long, and she was lied to. Right after she found out, Kami sent her back to her parents and filed for divorce.’

Amy’s jaw hung in shock. She looked to Kamilah who rolled her eyes. ‘Thank you Mona, for spilling unnecessary details about my life.’ Her tone was sarcastic, but everyone knew she meant it.

‘Come on, she’s family.’

‘So? I have a right to privacy, even from all of you.’ Kamilah washed her dishes before leaving the house swiftly, everyone being left behind in silence.

She entered the SUV that Chahine drove and gave him directions to an apartment building. She frequented the building at least two or three times a week, and all of her staff knew why. Her girlfriend lived there.

Kamilah entered the apartment after giving Chahine clear instructions to leave her there for the night.

She looked around the apartment, growing wearier as she couldn’t find the woman she had come to see.

‘Alia?’

‘In here!’

The woman was in the dedicated wine room, searching the racks for the perfect bottle for the night.

Kamilah wrapped her arm around the woman, giving her a warm peck on the lips. ‘I’m sorry about the last minute call, I hope you don’t mind me staying the night.’

Alia grinned and turned her back to the woman that held her as she began to open the bottle. ‘Of course, I’d love that.’

Kamilah slipped her other arm around the woman’s waist, her lips trailing soft kisses down the back of Alia’s neck. The woman hummed in approval, struggling to maintain focus on the wine that flowed into the cups.

Kamilah tugged the woman flush to her chest, relishing in the gentle moan she earned as a result. The once gentle kisses turned into feverish, wet ones as she began to unbutton Alia’s shirt.

The woman pulled away suddenly, smirking as she held up the two wine glasses. ‘You can’t have me until this bottle is done.’ Alia watched on as Kamilah’s eyes traveled the down the open expanse of flesh from her torso and chest.

‘So cheeky.’ Kamilah smirked, taking the wine glass she followed Alia to the bed. ‘You love it.’ Alia sat back seductively on the bed, barely able to bite back a sly grin.

‘Absolutely, I do. You’re so sexy when you tease.’ Kamilah teasingly trailed her finger across the woman’s collarbone, down her soft cleavage, cheekily trying to open her shirt more.

‘Oh am I? I had no idea…’ Alia set aside her glass as she straddled Kamilah, unable to resist anymore.

‘What happened to finishing the bottle first?’ Kamilah smirked and laid back slightly, sipping her wine.

Alia began trailing hot kisses down Kamilah’s neck and collarbone, quickly lifting off the clothes in her way before she trailed the kisses further.

‘I said you can’t have me before it’s done. But I can have you, and I need you, Kamilah.’

Kamilah bucked her hips as Alia licked her lower abdominal muscles, her eyes darkening significantly as the woman peeled off Kamilah’s pants.

They would certainly have some fun, seeing as this was only the start.

It was well into the afternoon once the women decided to stop, Kamilah gently tucking back a strand of Alia’s hair as they both tried to catch their breath. The now empty wine bottle was lying on the floor next to the strewn clothes that lay around it.

‘Are you alright?’ Kamilah’s voice softened as she watched Alia breathe, her chest rising and falling quickly.

‘I’m… so amazing right now. You?’ She grinned, leaning up to kiss Kamilah.

Kamilah leant down to meet her halfway, as they shared a passionate kiss. ‘I’m excellent.’

Alia laughed softly before placing her hands gently onto Kamilah’s cheeks. Kamilah leant their heads together, closing her eyes momentarily.

‘We really should shower…’

Kamilah nodded, staying put. Alia grinned, gently pushing Kamilah’s shoulder.

‘Kamilah.’

‘Alright, alright.’ She grinned, kissing the woman once more before running a hot shower for the two of them.

Not long after, the two women were seated opposite each other on the dining table, enjoying shawarmas.

‘Alia, have you ever thought about marriage?’ Kamilah asked, breaking the comfortable silence with the question.

Alia swallowed, her eyes on Kamilah as she thought of answer.

‘I have, a lot, actually.’

Kamilah arched a brow before taking another bite, her face visibly asking the question she didn’t say.

Alia reached for Kamilah’s hand across the table, gently intertwining their fingers before she continued.

‘I… wouldn’t want to marry anyone but you, Kamilah.

Kamilah held Alia’s loving gaze as she ran a gentle thumb over the woman’s knuckles.

‘And you’ve considered my line of work?’

Alia nods before sighing softly. ‘I don’t like it, but it’s your family’s business and I can respect that. I just wish you were safer.’

‘I know my love, I know. I wish I didn’t have to be a part of it either, but we both know I can’t.’ Kamilah gently kissed Alia’s palm in reassurance.

‘Have you thought about marrying me Kami?’

Kamilah opened her mouth to speak, only to be cut off by the sound of her ringtone.

It was Chahine.
