I didn't think I would see you again so soon--if ever.

"Please forgive me for my extended absence. I do not intend to repeat such behavior again."
ilmareetero
To think you would be the first I see again.
-He's not ready to come back--not just yet. But very, very soon.-
It seems while you weren't looking, someone placed a non-suspicious basket at your feet. Within it sits a lone egg that radiates a good feeling deep in your soul.
A brown egg with a green top and one small tan spot. It is surprisingly tough.
A note has been left with the egg explaining that it is your 'soul mate' from another world, and will be hatching soon to serve loyally by your side. Judging by the noises and the shaking, it will hatch by tomorrow night.
Time to start thinking of names!
...
-He's not sure what to make of such a thing at his side so suddenly, but...-
There’s a sort of ominous presence around this man that rattles Kakyoin to his very core- no, this isn’t like that encounter on his first trip to Egypt. There’s something much more primal and profound about the dread that crept into Kakyoin’s mind as he gazed warily at this unknown figure, but he pushed it aside in order to speak- even if only temporarily.
…You certainly have a warrior’s charisma about you, as well. You speak as though you’re not human- what are you, then?
Kakyoin read the veiled intent of the other’s words immediately, the young man quickly looking around for any civilians and cautiously calling Hierophant forth- he sent his stand a few meters away from himself. After all, if the other’s eyes moved to his Stand, then he knew it was visible.
…He had to be a Stand user, right? What else could explain that ever-growing sense of dread or his sudden appearance? Even if he wasn’t human— a rogue vampire, maybe— surely there had to be a more rational explanation for the nausea slowly overwhelming him than terror.
After all, he had vowed to cast aside his fear when he had stepped foot into Cairo.
An amusing response from someone who was no doubt even more amusing. It's something that rouses curiosity from him, seeing something beyond a fragile human frame. The more interesting of all is that this boy--no doubt a boy, younger than his previous opponents--openly acknowledged his presence. It was the kind of thing he liked to experience.
A person not facing him out of revenge, but out of just passing him in such a way. It was a sort of honorable, near-romantic ideal of a warrior. No pretenses, no ideals behind a battle.
That sort of strength and pride was what has him meet the boy's eyes. His carelessness at first glance for the boy meant he overlooked the lines that crossed his lids--such interesting, clean scars on his face, were they not?
Would it matter to explain to you what I am? From the way you stand, the way you meet my gaze--the way those scars cross your eyes means you have every intention of finding out.
Ah, there's that sort of concern, and he nods his head as if to confirm the situation.
No other humans are here, if that's your concern. I won't involve them, either.
He makes no acknowledgement toward whatever invisible entity the boy might have at the moment. He simply remains focused on him, arms sliding and folding against his chest.
Let's see how long this lasts.

Humans certainly have changed over the ages, have they not? Just in appearance.
I can tell when I see a warrior, however. I won't take you lightly.
dynamitemode started following you
I'm pleased to see you as well, certainly.

You look somewhat familiar to me. You seem as if you've got some potential that I've never seen before.
I'm intrigued.

Ah...
Lord Kars, it seems as if you have recovered from your time as a cat. It is a pleasure to see you as yourself once more.

...I'm certain that you should not be alive at the moment.
I'd like to know the reason you appear before me once more, ripple user.
Kars wasn’t far across the room when he spotted Wham. If he hadn’t been someone he knew, he would have taken the route any other cat would have and walked all the way around the opposite end of the room to avoid him. Instead he made a beeline for him, instinctively rubbing against his ankles.
He stops, letting the feline version of his master have right of way, letting him do as he pleases. Even if it was risking condescension, he gives a protective glance around the surroundings, just to make sure there was nothing that could be troublesome for them. With trouble thoroughly placed in check, he goes still as Kars makes contact against his ankles.
He's still for few moments, a light smile forming on his face before he kneels to him. Yes, that behavior was certainly not lost on him, and it was certainly an honor.
Quietly, he extends his hand to the cat before him, low and asking for silent permission to stroke that plush-looking fur.
...
WHERE WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO VISIT ON YOUR PLANET?
Wherever Lord Kars deems it fit is ultimately my reply.
Alternatively, I would consider that place to be wherever there is the strongest opponent possible, to test my limits once more.
