NEW FNF COLLAB UPDATE JUST GOT SHADOWDROPPED AND IM... A little mixed on it...

I DON'T WANNA BE A NEGATIVE NANCY, I HAVE A FEW POSITIVE THINGS TO SAY FIRST.

First of all, I'm so so SO happy for the fnf devs. To be collabing with a massive kpop group like LE SSERAFIM is a huge milestone and I hope they get more huge collabs like this in the future. Also the fact that a COLLAB has this much love and soul poured into it makes me really excited for what the future weeks will look like, the cutscene is SO FUN and the art is fantastic. I'm full of hopium..

... On the other hand ...

Ok, come on. The collab is cool, but it is COMPLETELY valid for people to be mad at the devs for promising Week 8 and hyping them up for MONTHS just to go "Haha whoopsie the update that was meant to be Week 8 actually a collab! Don't worry though Week 8 is next for sure guys" as if they didn't say Week 8 was next before this collab even came out.

Literally all they had to do was go on the whole blog they made just to communicate with their playerbase or the official dev accounts and say "The next update is not Designation 3." And I'm sure people (including me) would be less angry at them for basically blue-balling us

Also like… REALLY?? We're only going to put those AWESOME ASS Bf and Gf resprites in the collab song??? 😭😭 I really hope this doesn't mean they're collab exclusive because I will FLIP OUT if that's the case

I think thats all I have to say.. This rant is probably very messy because I was planning to go to sleep until I got that notification and it deadass woke me up..

I'm excited for what comes next but I'm also kinda mad :-/ idk

Ok look.... As a Sharpshooter shipper I'm happy that we get to see them together alot, but like... where is my boy Darnell??? Why have we barely seen him since weekend 1 dropped? Even when we all thought he was gonna be replacing Pico on the speakers in the week 7 Pico mix, it turned out to be fucking OTIS?? 😭 This is not Otis hate of course, I like Otis and I understand that he was added there as a surprise choice but it would've been nice if we got to see Darnell again because he's barley gotten any screen time compared to his friends 😕

as much as I love Pico, I don't like how he's 10x more fleshed out than his buddies..... You can tell he has a lot more going for him character-wise just by comparing the description of his plush to that of Nene and Darnells.

Nene was particularly done dirty in hers, and as much as I like sharpshooter, I've come to hate how most of her character as of now just revolves around Pico and liking him. I hope as more updates come out she gets more character development because I'm tired of how mischaracterized she is
