i always just assumed everyone who said spn goes downhill in the latter half of the show were liars, especially when i first started the show, but i know now that was a completely truthful warning. of course i have noticed the bad acting no longer being charming, and the writing falling to complete shit, but, i kept holding on in hopes that things would somehow go back to how they used to be. i am on the last couple of episodes of season thirteen and this is the first time i have found the show to be genuinely unlikable and almost unwatchable. not an episode goes by where me or whoever i am watching with don't groan, facepalm, look at each other with wtf expressions, or have to pause the episode to communicate our frustrations with it. the only episode i have enjoyed out of season thirteen so far was the scoobynatural one, an episode i had been looking forward to since the beginning. let me be clear, i still love this show and its characters, it will always be a big part of me and i will remain faithful up until the very end, it just makes me sad what it has turned into.

half of Sam’s appeal to me is how nice he is. He’s so sweet and gentle when he has every right to be the opposite, he makes himself smaller on purpose to seem non threatening, he speaks in a quiet voice and raises his eyebrows and keeps his hands within view of the person he’s talking to. He’s so nice :(
