A little refresh in bunny jail while some padding gets washed!

Finally got Kylo's meds in today, 1 out of 28 daily doses done.

Went down fairly easy and made it easier to syringe feed some critical care right away. Glad we requested cherry flavor (he doesn't like bananas... like a weirdo)! 🍒

Will need to follow up with the vet in a couple weeks for some blood work to make sure the meds aren't causing any bone marrow suppression in the lil' guy. 🤞🏻

We've put Kylo in (temporary) bunny jail. 😭

Made an immediate vet appointment for this afternoon after waking up to a very wobbly Kylo who had obvious head tilt and loss of balance (he tested positive for e.cuniculi when he was younger but it's been dormant all these years). He didn't want his treat or pellets and hadn't had any water or hay overnight.

The vet put some fluids in him and sent us home with critical care to syringe feed him (a pain, as usual) while they run some blood work on him. In the meantime, we reduced his space so he didn't have to walk far to eat or drink and wouldn't bump into too many hard walls and pulled out our low entry litterbox. We're keeping a close eye on him in the portable pen so I can watch him closely while I work or we hang out.

He has been drinking a little water since he's been home, grooming himself when he can, and eaten some herbs and little treats, a little bit of hay too. 🥹🙏🏻
