"Grades are worth shit!"
-Kurosaki Isshin/ Bleach 113
Regardless if you see them or not, if you don’t believe, then it’s like they never existed.
Kurosaki Karin (via lovelybirdme)
"Fuck."
He was going to die.
"Watch your tongue."
"It could get you in trouble with certain people."
Ino was offended that Karin didn’t think Ino liked plants. "Well, I’ve worked at my family’s flower shop all my life and I can’t think of a better job," she pointed out. "When you learn the name and meaning of every flower, I’m sure the love grows. Or maybe it’s inside everyone and they only know they love plants when they see them,"she prattled on fondly. Ino was a botanist at heart.
"And just look at them-" the fair-haired girl waved her arm around, gesturing to all the pots of plants, sturdy saplings and rose bushes she tended at house 3-E, "-you would have to be dead to not appreciate plants. Nature is a beauty that doesn’t need any explanation."
It might also have something to do with the fact that Ino grew up in Konoha; the village hidden in the leaves.
Finally inside, Karin managed to speak about her twin, making Ino giggle. Twin telepathy. What a weird thing.
"Yeah, I’ve been… busy," Ino sighed. "University actually requires work. I like all my science modules but don’t like any of the girls in Itachi-San’s class. Hussies."
"Ah, I see." she said while gazing back at the blonde before she spoke so dearly about the plants and people in general. "Something similar happens to Yuzu and me. Back in Karakura, our family owns a clinic that's why I really don't mind working as a nurse. It is one of the little things I can actually be good at, anyway." Man, did she really thought of her wrong before.
At some point not only by listening to Ino but actually seeing all the outstanding work she has done with each flower or plant, made her thought of how her mother would really like Ino and her doing. Obviously, she shook her way trying to get rid of those thoughts before leaning to get a better look.
"You may be right, but it may be a beauty that still needs help, and that is not for everyone either. You're really good at keeping them alive." she said while placing her hands over her knees as she stared at a few more pots.
The ebony haired girl chuckled after hearing her little rant, "Ino-chan you really are a jealous girl like and old ambitious lady who lives with cats." she teased a bit mainly for imagining the whole picture, "You shouldn't worry about those girls, if you and your lover know very well each other's feelings." she added a bit more serious and serene.
karakurared-karin replied to your post:"So…how are your anger management classes doing?"
"You posted poisonous— ah well, it’s good they’re working out. You seem quite more lively, I’m okay and you?" she said with an attempted small smile before she furrowed her brows,"Oh you did? Huhm…Yeah if he begins to be eccentric just ignore him"
Ino stood up and away from the plants, placing the watering can down, before fully turning to Karin.
"I don’t think you’ve been inside this one, have you?" The florist smiled and invited her inside.
"I’m fine," she replied, a little concerned about Karin’s lacklustre answer (then realised Karin was always wore that expression on her face).
"What? No!! Your dad is lovely!"
"Anyway, have you got anything exciting happening, huh, huh?”
"Not really." she said before slowly approaching towards the blonde and paying attention to the plant, "I didn't knew you actually liked to take care of them." she confessed, honestly she just thought it was a pure act so she could impress the picture of his boyfriend, but she was actually really good, due for the healthy image each plant had.
Karin arched a brow as she stared back at Ino, considering in her vocabulary 'fine' wasn't an 'emotion', her suspicious grew stronger on how she addressed to her father.
"Are you really?" she asked a bit surprised, her own father, lovely? "Well I'll admit that's a first."
Eager as always, Karin thought. "Not much, the other day Yuzu and I had another sort of twin telepathy sort of thing, and ended up having a snack. How about you? Haven't heard much of you since you were transferred to the university."
[/Throws soccer ball at his direction]
Effortlessly dodges the ball.
"It looks like you still have it, after all this time. It's been a while, didn't expected to see you here."
Isshin held his face in horror. “I- I DON’T HAVE WRINKLES THEY’RE JUST- I DON’T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE BUT THEY’RE NOT WRINKLES.” Hearing the comment on his beard made him blink at her. “Wha- no Karin you don’t understand. A man’s beard is his pride and joy above all else. Without his beard he is nothing.” He sneered at her. “And I’m not lonely I have been speaking to plenty of people and I am doing juuust fine.”
The petite girl rolled her eyes a bit ashamed of herself for being heard after all she tried to be a bit quiet about it, "They're wrinkles for me, unless you prove it otherwise" she said while crossing her arms and arching her brows unamused as her father had this monologue of a beard and men's pride. "If that's really the case, men are more simple and foolish than what they look." she said before giving him a dull glare a bit surprised over his last statement, "Oh really? Then why don't you go and show off your beard to them instead?"
Yuzu merely laughed at her sister’s protests at being grabbed and held in an embrace but didn’t bother letting go just yet. After all, it was her privilege as the other girl’s twin to get away with such things when she wanted to. Feeling Karin patting her on the back made her happy as she knew that for her non-demonstrative twin it was a sign of great affection.
Inwardly sighing as her twin’s overprotective nature reared its head, she pulled away slightly to offer her sister an apologetic smile. She really did hate it when she inadvertently caused her twin to worry about her but she guessed it couldn’t be helped since it was an aspect ingrained into Karin’s character.
"I didn’t mean to worry you Karin-chan, I promise I’ll leave a note next time for sure!"
Beckoning her twin further into her apartment, she pointed to a chair in a silent indication that her sister should take a seat. There was no way she was just going to let Karin leave again so soon after not seeing her for so long and what better way to spend some time with her twin than over an afternoon snack.
"Wait right there Karin-chan and I’ll go get some juice and cookies from the kitchen…"
By meeting her sister's gaze, Karin offered her quite a sympathetic smile, of course she didn't mean to do it, but she guessed that was why sisters were for weren't they? "That's all right Yuzu, I sort of didn't left you a not either, call it even." she said a bit more energetic trying to make her feel better.
Soon enough the ebony haired twin blinked a bit confused but still did as she was told, when she knew they were having some snacks deep down she felt a lot of joy but that would only mean...
"I sell myself for food." she mumbled to herself feeling quite defeated, she groaned a bit but stood still and waited for her sister. "Shouldn't I help you with something?" she asked while holding her toes.
karakurared-karin replied to your post:[/Reads a book and then lifts her gaze to judge her own father]
[/Furrows her brows and attempts to ignore] Your chin looks bigger with that goat beard of yours. Shouldn’t you be doing something more important like shaving that stupid look on your face?
Isshin sat on the floor to be level. “Karin my daughter, your handsome papa should be doing many things-” He stroked his beard. “But shaving this beautiful creature is not one of them.”
Honestly, she didn't appreciated he had to sit so close to her to speak up. "-Yeah like looking in a mirror and see the wrinkles on your face" she mumbled while taking another look on her book. The young girl shrugged a bit before raising her head judging her father once again, "Dad, that's disgusting, you're talking about it as if it was something alive. How lonely are you?"
Family picture!…..sorta….
BLEACH物語 by DW噗
Startled at the sudden outburst from her ebony haired twin, Yuzu fell out of her chair and gazed up at the other in shock and amazement. It was certainly uncanny how their minds seemed to work in sync and no matter how often it happened it still astounded her all the time.
Leaping from the floor with a cry of joy, she raced to where her was standing in the door and threw her arms around her. The loud and demanding tone didn’t phase her in the slightest for she knew her twin well enough to know what her true feelings were.
"Nowhere in particular but it’s good to see you Karin-chan!"
Karin simply arched a brow as her sister fell off the ground, well that was a first in her own opinion. Soon she widened her eyes as Yuzu hurried to embrace her with her joyful spirit. "O-Oi! I-it's not like it has to go too far! Oh...humph" she said before being trapped in her twin's arms. The ebony haired raised her shoulders due for the contact but after a few minutes she relaxed a bit more.
Despise being many things, her sister truly could bring her more soft side... but just a little bit of it, really, considering she merely patted her back in return mainly for her own pride of appearing in her demanding mode. "Well you were starting to get me worried! You should leave a note or a simple message next time, what if something would've happen to you?" she added trying to get her original bossy attitude.
Although, it was well known between the Kurosakis that Yuzu was the one in charge.
"I wonder what Karin-chan’s been up to lately… I haven’t seen her in while…"
Karin opened the door aggressively making a lot of noise, the ebony haired twin placed both of her hands on her waist as she demanded in a loud, "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN YUZU?!"
Even though she quite disappeared as well, it was her best way to show her true concern over her dearest sister.
*stares at* "...why do you remind me of the rude ginger?"
Karin arched a brow, the hell was that guy staring at her for?
Although as soon as he made his question the raven haired gave him an unamused look, there was only one rude ginger in the whole place she physically looked related too.
"Because there are high chances you might be referring to my brother, I suppose. Who’s asking?"
"huh." Gremmy wasn’t sure what he had expected, but that apparently wasn’t it.
"you have family here~?" He covered his surprise quickly, responding to her question with one of his own.
"I’m Gremmy~"
Karin blinked quite surprise for his reaction, was really uncommon to have family here? She'd seen certain parents around chatting from time to time to their sons or daughters as well.
"Of course, I think we're all here now. Although a certain member of the family seems a bit...different in a way. But they're here" she said before showing a slight glimpse of concern.
"I'm Kurosaki Karin." she said after a small pause, "Isn't your family here too?"
"Indeed one has to wonder about the mental stability of the creators," Neji muttered staring up from his position on a chair.
"Sources are insistent the so called charms keeping the whole thing together and non-leaking are infalliable. As such, I wouldn’t put any faith in them if I were you." He waved a slim novel to prove his point. As for being a lair…
"I thought the statue outside was rather telling, myself. Not to mention crass - how obvious could they be?"
"Huh?" the raven haired turned towards the source of the voice, she laid her stomach on the back of the couch and let her arms loosen up as she listened to his whole explanation.
Karin arched her brows from time to time, and once he was done she couldn't help but chuckle a bit, "You look not much older than my brother, and yet speak exactly like an old man" she said between her laughter.
"Well, I do understand the reasons to not trust them easily, specially since we're under the lake, and I think there's some sort of octopus or something that frequently passes by, but I think we shouldn't be worried." she said in a more serious manner, "And maybe it's rather obvious to you because you're cunning enough to understand that, but maybe from someone of another house isn't as obvious? Who knows?"
