tbf i havent seen many others not upset with how pin was handled in bfdia 22 but im gonna give my personal reasons and hope they align with the criticisms you’ve seen🤞

for me the main thing that was rlly bad was pins elimination. not necessarily the fact that she was eliminated (since oscyt hates characters who show even an ounce of meaniness) but what happens immediately afterwards. coiny tells pin that she “doesn’t need consoling”. which is just. SO STUPID??? pin literally got bullied and tormented to the point she had no face, limbs, and was incredibly shurken. and that does t need consoling??? mind you up until bfdia 21(which has its own criticisms and issues) pin had NEVER gotten an apology from ANYONE about what she was put through. and just for ALL of that to be essentially thrown out and considered irrelevant by COINY OF ALL PEOPLE because she lost is just really dumb.  AND THE REASONING HE GIVES IS STUPID TOO!!! he says that because of pins mental fortitude and mech suit that she should be fine, when she has stated many times that she does not like her mech suit(big example is bfdia 17)!!!!!!!! and her mental fortitude only kind of works since yes shes technically survived going through all of bfdia but she MENTALLY GOT WORSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the fact that pin, who has been known to be petty over trivial things doesn’t call put coiny for this flaw and judt accepts it’s feels like bad wrtiting. even if she’s on her “redemption arc”.

alsoalso her destroying dream island,,, it’s REALLY GOOD in concept and they were SO CLOSe to making it awesome, but it was made into where pin thinks that shes the “main character” and not for revenge to bfdia as a whole???which could’ve been 100x better imo??? and maybe her saving woody but idkk

also i guess i did see some ppl on osctwt complain about rhe POOPY acronym joke so maybe that’s it lmao/j
