   Lena Luthor sighed with frustration as she looked down at the pile of paperwork she still had on her desk. It was past midnight and she had been working for hours already. “Five more minutes”, she quietly said to herself. Lena knew that 5 minutes would quickly turn into an hour, but she had to finish her work. She always tells herself that she made a commitment to her company, but that was just an excuse to help her not feel so guilty for not spending as much time as she wanted with her fiance, Kara danvers. 

   As Lena puts down the last of her paperwork for the night she hears fabric flutter in the wind. As she turns around  she half expects to see a graceful landing from the one and only supergirl or as she knows her, kara danvers, but instead she watches as kara trips over the balcony edge tumbling down onto the hard balcony floor. Lena bursts out laughing but then quickly apologizes when she sees the embarrassed look on Kara's face. 

   “Hey, what are you doing here?” Lena says to the clumsy hero.

    “ oh I don't know maybe it has to do with the fact that I wake up expecting to see you only to see the empty side of your bed. Honestly honey, I've told you many times that the company can’t be run if you're overworked and sleep deprived!” 

“But-” the CEO tries to cut in but is quickly shut down.

“No buts. I am flying you home right now so you can get some sleep!”

“No flying! I hate flying! It's cold, all the wind hits my face, and it's extremely high! No flying.”

“Fine, I'll drive you home, and before you say that you can drive yourself look in the mirror. You have dark circles around your eyes and you look like you're half asleep.”

Lena knows Kara is right but she hates to admit it, she sometimes wished that people didn't have to sleep, they would certainly get a lot more work done. 

   Kara and Lena walk out of the building and to the car hand in hand, lena’s head softly resting against Kara's shoulder.
