But, why not be a little messy at a birthday party?” He’d grabbed the can of whipped cream while he was talking and reached up to spray a small dot of it on top of Kara’s lips and nose, then did the same to Emma. “You did say you love whipped cream.”

“You’d know a thing or two about that, wouldn’t you?” Kara quipped back with a smirk before turning her gaze to Emma and letting out a soft laugh. She looked precious with her face covered in her sundae. “I don’t mind-” She’d just said before there was suddenly whipped cream squirted onto her face. The blonde quickly licked it off with a laugh, picking up the bottle of chocolate sauce and repaying the favour by squirting a bit of that onto his nose. “I do. And you love chocolate, don’t you? Doesn’t your dad look so good dressed in chocolate, Emma?”
