Our family together just over a year ago celebrating Dad’s 80th birthday. Christmas Day was one month to the day that we lost the most respectful, loving, clever, compassionate and humble husband and father. @gloriabrucewallace and I wish to thank everyone who has sent cards, messages, cooked for us, mowed our lawn, checked in on us, called and especially those who took time out to attend Dad’s funeral. Have reenrolled for Art History @unimelb next year. I’m really looking forward to learning more about our home grown artists in ‘Australian Art’. Studying with a disability can have it’s challenges, of which I’ve personally experienced many, however @artsunimelb & Equity Depts & tutors have been nothing but supportive. I’d encourage any person with a disability who is considering tertiary/postgrad study to at least investigate your options and the supports available to you.
