The outbreak of Ebora caused alot of fear in our hearts thinking of how we can avoid being affected, but without prayers to God to protect us, it may not be possible. The outbreak of Ebora has led our District to lock down and almost everything was closed like businesses, transport, churches and so many others so that it cannot be spread to other areas. This has hardly hardened our living that even getting what to eat has become a very big problem, we are also scared to get affected 😢. Life has become more difficult on our side. Never lose hope, all is not lost. In life , we can like that dry, cracked soil. Everything goes wrong; we face a long dry season, hoping to experience something that brings hope and joy. But you can move from hopelessness to joy!! You may owe so much money that you think you would win lottery just to breathe again. You may be in a relationship that has become difficult and that drains you of your hope. Like that drought-dried soil, you feel like you will never be able to grow again. Perhaps you have lied to yourself and said that you can go on with things the way they are now, but inside, you know that something must change. Maybe you placed your hope on someone and were disappointed. Sometimes, we can be fooled by things that appear real but really rob us of joy and hope. At some point, you will discover that false hope has made your life dry and difficult. You may want to give up. You may feel that there is no way forward and that you will die in that dry place hopelessness. If a brother or sister is poorly dressed/clothed and lacking in daily food , and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, be warned and filled," without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? As we are preparing for Christmas, we need to atleast think of the children living in extreme poverty. The enjoyment on that day shouldn't be only for the few. There are children who live in extreme poverty, they need food, shelter, clothes and shelter. I encourage you, while you are spending much money on preparing for Christmas to kindly spare atleast as little as you can and bring a smile on faces of these children on that day. You can spare $10,$20,$30 ,$40 and more and you make it special for one child/home a single meal and you make it special on the Christmas day.
