I’m rewatching Avengers Endgame and that stupid scene where Steve pulls out his compass with Peggy’s picture 😷 pissed me off all over again. Yeah, I think my rewatch is on pause. I will never understand why they chose to regress him as a character like that. Of course don’t even get me fucking started on his time travel bullshit ending. 😒😵‍💫 What a fucking shitshow.

sometimes i remember the fact that sarah rogers would absolutely adore sharon carter, but that considering how she has repeatedly treated steve, would absolutely NOT adore peggy.

like i can't say she'd hate her, because sarah couldn't even bring herself to hate joseph, but she certainly wouldn't like her very much.

even in the mcu, peggy literally shot at steve because he was assaulted.

been off my Sharon bullshit for a while but this whole Captain Cannoli being in Multiverse of Madness has reopened old wounds…..so I’ve compiled my current thoughts:

1. Why weren’t Steve and Sharon endgame? WHAT WAS THE REASON?? The comics were literally right there.

2. The MCU writers literally put 5% effort into crafting Steve and Sharon’s relationship, & then acted surprised when there wasn’t overwhelming support for it? And instead of actually writing a good relationship in the TWO FILMS that followed CW featuring Cap, they just covered it up with MORE shitty writing that completely destroyed Steve as a character in the process?

3. Don’t even get me started on how a CAPTAIN AMERICA movie spent more time on Tony Stark and Peter Parker’s relationship than Steve and Sharon’s….

4. People who say “Sharon would’ve been more popular if she was played by someone else” can shut tf up. Emily is an amazing actress and could have chemistry with a wall. Blame. The. Writing.

5. Why is so much effort being put into bringing Peggy back as a pseudo-cap when we literally just got a new, much more interesting Cap in Sam? It’s like they don’t even remember he exists!
