"When did I become human again? Good question. I’m not sure myself, I sort of just woke up whole a few months ago. What I was doing before that is a mystery to me, but I woke up in Aoba’s room."

"As for how long you were out for, I’d say only a few hours at most."

He couldn’t bear to tell her that she’d been out for two whole weeks.

Silence followed Kimiyoshi's answer given, picking at every small detail that was given. Months? The Reaper's Game... How long was that ago? When she started it, before hand, Rikari was a small mammal. It didn't add up. Where was Aoba now? Surely that entire game wasn't just a long, bad dream. Then again... It wasn't so bad like the first game... She was scared there... She was just anxious in the recent one. But it was just a dream. Right? However, the claim she was out for only a few hours... She didn't believe it.

   ❝Rikari. Be honest with me, I beg of you.       How long was I out? That didn't feel like       only a few hours.❞

The redhead sighed, standing up as he watched the girl shoot up from her position of laying down. Explaining what had happened was going to take some work.

"So you finally decided to wake up, huh? It’s only been moments for you, but it’s been quite some time for me. Maybe an explanation is in order? Where would you like to start? With how I’m human again, or what just happened?"

Time was a fickle thing. For most people, it passed normally, but for an unlucky few, it was rather odd and could be considered achronistic by ‘normal’ standards.

   ❝...Rikari..? You're...❞

A human Rikari was truly a sight to behold, a sight that hadn't been within hers since the last Reaper's Game while she was still a man. This was something to take in very slowly. How'd this even happen was what she wanted to ask, but something else grabbed her attention: what he said first.

   ❝What're talking about? Finally decided to wake up? When you say        moments, it sounds like I've been asleep for a little too long...❞

   ❝...I... I'm awake...❞

What was this? Light... Sight... Life? Wasn't she just sitting in darkness, waiting for an inevitable death? She was just... In Shibuya... Now she was in Akihabara, her hometown. Anxiety of the unknown swelled in her vessel, grasping at her her chest to prevent herself from having a full out panic attack. Flesh and blood, skin and bones -- She was alive again. In her pocket did she feel her phone, pulling it out quickly to see what time it was.

Noon... Months. Wait... Had she been... Dreaming...?

   ❝...Aoba...❞

I don’t mind random starters, but I’m left questioning whom QB is..! I’ve been attentive to the RRG event, but now that I’m free from that, a random starter would be nice. I just need to know the blog, is all— I’m kinda not familiar with most of the people I follow, to be honest.

The time to accomplish anything had already passed, leaving the girl left to just stand idly as she awaited for something, anything to occur. She had passed out nearly the moment the mission started, so obviously she was in the danger zone of being erased today. Oh well... She made it halfway through. How ironic... And here she was saying she'd survive today and the rest of the game.

   ❝As long as Aoba survives... I think I'll be fine. No... I shouldn't       talk like this... I have to keep thinking good thoughts. Think       positive...❞

   ❝Think positive... If anything, I could always come back       as a reaper... If they let me... Haha... What a bummer...       and here I thought I'd survive this again. Guess my body       just wanted to rest at the wrong time... And now I have to       face the consequences. Haha... I sound so grim... I feel       so out of character. I'm sure if Sun saw me like this, he'd       be asking what's wrong and how I should do my best to stay       positive... Maybe I'll go ask him how he's doing...❞

Her laughs were small yet genuine, despite her expecting the worse. With a brush of her hair, she went ahead and sat herself down at a bench, just watching the grey faced crowds go by. She figured she could listen to her music while she waited, pulling out her earphones and placing them both in. She'll go ahead and listen to some Lotus Juice while she does.

   ❝On the bright side, I can finally get a break from all the       running around, right? Haha~❞

Within Fukahi's pocket resided a pin as well as a note. She went ahead and began to read it slighty aloud, the note containing the following in Japanese:

   ❝Alice... Cat... Is this something about that novel...? Hm...       Better get to work, I guess.❞

今月UJ本誌の表紙も担当させて頂きました。直刀とハイネです。実は線画の段階で直刀のボトムをスカートにするかパンツにするか悩んでいて、結果パンツになったんですけどスカートも捨て難かったので後日別バージョン描いちゃいました。特に使うあても無いのでここにはっておこうと思います。
