Karma Bay tip of the day: use the Karma Bay action bar underneath all Members' and Causes' posts. From there you can share Karma, comment on posts, repost to your (and your Cause's) page and share to your favorite social networks.
How do I use Karma Bay?
Let's get you going on Karma Bay, shall we?
Here are the basics:
1. Causes: When you sign up, we want you to search for and/or start a new Cause. A Cause can represent any idea or ideal.
But the question you should answer when creating and finding Causes is: How would you make the world a better place? Help some friends? Start a nationwide movement? Protest a business? The possibilities are endless.
2. Campaigns: In Karma Bay, Campaigns are real-world extensions of Causes. For Cause starters and organizers, Campaigns are a call to action. As in real action - no mouse clicks until you've gone out and done something.
After you've fulfilled what the Campaign is asking you to do, come back to Karma Bay and check in to the Campaign to share what you did. Any particular Cause's Campaigns are listed on the right side of their page in Karma Bay.
Sooner or later, Campaign goals are met and real world impacts will be seen and felt.
It's really as simple as that! We do encourage you to share what actions you've taken and the Causes in which you take part. That's why we encourage you to sign up using your Facebook account.
Questions? Hit us up here on Tumblr, on Twitter or on Facebook. We'd love to get your input.
It's almost Go Time!
We're counting down the minutes until Karma Bay launches! It will be a quiet launch indeed, but it has been a long time coming.
