Don't imagine Sebek becoming more and more clingy to the freshmen and Silver as he realizes his time with them is immeasurably shorter than his time with Lilia and Malleus will be.
Don't imagine Sebek having this fearful look in his eyes, head turned away from Lilia to act as if he's not listening, while the older Fae describes past experiences and soon realizes Lilia doesn't remember those people. What if that happens to him? Will he forget Ace and Deuce? Jack? Epel? MC? Will they just become nameless silhouettes in his memory that will eventually fade into nothing?
Don't imagine Sebek realizing he's probably going to have to watch his friends grow old and experience that part of aging together as he remains young, and eventually having to go to their own funerals and services.
Don't imagine Sebek vowing to watch over their families for each generation before they all pass, to not only make them proud, but because they will be the last pieces of his friends he can keep.
Don't imagine Sebek keeping frames of his group photos and friends portraits in a room, built in their memory, and he goes to talk to them about his day, everyday - before the tradition slowly faded from his mind and seems to only go when he remembers the room in his home.
Don't imagine Sebek wondering why he wears the old black and red bracelet, the ring with the small apple carved into it, the long chain with a wolf pendent at the end, or obsidian ring with a line of emerald going through it.
Don't imagine Sebek going through his storage to find his journals from when he was young, rereading them, and finally remembering everything again.
And don't imagine Sebek curled up and crying at how he feels as if he's lost himself- wishing he could have left this world with his friends long ago, either from nostalgia or the simple fact they helped him become his own person rather than JUST a loyal Knight.
Don't imagine Sebek falling to his knees before hiding, face in shock, as he watches a group of small children play. One with familiar red hair and a heart on his eye. One with deep blue hair and gorgeous turquoise eyes. One with the fluffiest white wolf ears he's seen. One with quite beautiful features that contrasted his large personality. And one with [ E/c ] eye that seem to calm him, a blue flamed kitten in their arms, playing with the rest.
