I thought Itafushi, given their whole story (and the things I've heard about Modulo) are a bit of a Greek tragedy.

Imagining a slightly different alternative to the Nibelheim Incident: one where instead of rejecting humanity entirely from all of the trauma he had endured, Sephiroth desperately clings to the idea of being human.
His mother was human, so he must be too.
Because accepting what he read in those books, saying that they used non-human cells on him since before he was born, might mean that they were right (that Genesis was right). It would mean that he was a monster.
Started writing a new Angeal-centric AGS fic (I'm ignoring my other three ongoing ff7 wips to start an entirely new multi-chaptered fic)
Aka: Angeal goes to therapy and his therapist tells he needs to find some hobbies to destress but he doesn't understand what that really means
