Her arms folded back around her best friend, softly squeezing in an affectionate manner. The time gap they went without seeing each other grew longer and longer, the older they got. Now, Katara treasured every day the spirits gave her; old but strong lungs filling with oxygen. She still had a little while to go.

“Oh no. I’m just visiting. I don’t see my grandchildren as often as I would like to.”
