🌹 Meet the Maker: Gothique Rose Apparel🌹

Hi neighbors! I’m April (or Kat) the maker and creative mind behind Gothique Rose Apparel and several other small niche lines under my umbrella campaign, Wear Unique.

I’ve always been a bit eccentric and drawn to vintage, alternative, and fantasy-inspired fashions. Back in the 1990s, styles like these were nearly impossible to find locally — so I started making them myself!

By the time I was 15, I was already selling hand-crocheted baby clothes, and in 2001, I decided to make things official and launched Gothique Rose Apparel, focusing on gothic, fantasy, and Renaissance attire.

Over the years, my work has grown far beyond its original roots. Today, I create everything from alternative and cosplay apparel to boho-inspired clothing, home décor, and handmade accessories. Every piece is designed with care, a touch of whimsy, and a whole lot of love for individuality.

Whether you’re into gothic gowns, boho crochet, retro fashion, or cozy handmade gifts — there’s a little something for everyone across my collections.

Ok, a little something different here. In 2025, my goal is to be more active and consistent on all the social media platforms I'm on. For this platform, that means more personalized blogs. I generally only do posts about my business, but this profile was originally created to cover a wider range of topics. I'll still do the business posts, but I'm also going to start blogs about my cooking and about my personal self care/fitness journey. I may add more as time goes on, but if I manage to meet my goals with these two, I'll be happy. If it becomes too much diversity for my followers, I will break it up into separate accounts, but let's see how this works first.
