“After a couple of weeks, the animators showed up at the studio to film Spacey as he was recording his role, and Spacey realized he was unconsciously “acting” the role with his body as he spoke his lines. His movements were then incorporated into the computer-drawn images. ‘That is a piece of film I never want to see,’ says Spacey of his live-action bug-a-loo. ‘That is blackmail stuff.’”
