Taylor literally said the words “I love and support you” and Nicki literally said “I love you just as much” - the problem isn’t that they hate each other or Nicki was calling Taylor out or that Taylor was trying to “””shade””” Nicki, it’s that Nicki was addressing an issue outside of Taylor’s feminist lane (primarily white, upper class feminism) and because Taylor’s lane is all she knows, she took the issue and dragged it INTO her lane. it was a fundamental misunderstanding.

fuck off!!!! stop trying to defend taylor swift’s blatant ignorance as a “misunderstanding”. she took a very importantly addressed issue as some kind of jab against her and then worsened the situation by saying that nicki is pitting women against each other, when all she’s doing is addressing racism in the music industry. taylor swift even felt so smug, that she said that she’ll invite nicki onto the stage if she wins as if it’s some sort of blessing from the gods. taylor understands the ENTIRE situation, but is so up her arse that she just took it as a personal fucking insult.

it ain’t a fundamental misunderstanding. it’s white feminists butting into the business of others. don’t fucking excuse it as a misunderstanding.
