Why Kat, are you blushing?
No, no, never.
[He let’s out a laugh before grabbing a hat and going to put the suit on. He pulls the curtain aside and poses.] Just call me Clyde.
Dear gods.. [Kat's face goes red with second hand embarrassment and she covers it with her hands] You look good.
Do I really strike you as a sparkly type of person? [He walks through the aisles looking for a suit. He holds it up.] Does this scream outlaw to you?
[Katerina crinkles her nose as she glances around the place. She looks to the suit he's holding and laughs a little] Yeah, I guess, but you don't really need any help with being an outlaw.
Because I feel like causing chaos, in style.
Fair enough. [she slips out of the car and walks up to the door] Just.. no sequins or sparkles.
Yes, Bonnie. Costumes.
But why?
[Corey drives through the busy streets scanning the buildings for a costume shop. Spotting one, he pulled the car over and shook Kat awake. She seemed a little more back to normal after napping.] Surprise.
Costumes?
Yeah, trust me its going to be great. [He finds his car parked on the street and gets in.] You’re going to love this, but for now maybe you should take a nap or something.
A nap? I mean, I'm not really tired, but alright. [she shifts her weight around on her seat and pulls her knees into her chest, resting her head on the seat]
[He grabs his backpack and dumps all the drachmas in it.] Let’s go then. [He smiles at her again and leads her down to the lobby.]
[Katerina shuffles alongside Corey down to the lobby. Reluctantly, she leaves the building by his side. She really didn't want to leave, she was having the time of her life.] Is this thing going to be a surprise?
[Not wanting to worry her, he forced a smile.] Yeah, everything is fine. I actually just thought of something super fun that we can do.
Really? That's awesome, let's do it.
Yeah, I bet. [His eyes moved around the lavish room. He found it strange that there were no windows. Deciding its probably a good idea to change out of the shirt he had been wearing for what seemed like days, he grabbed his backpack and walked into the bathroom. He dumped the bag onto the counter and his phone clattered across the tile. Sighing, he picked it up and looked at the screen. March second? No way, they had only been there for a few days. He changed his shirt and that’s when he realized. No windows, those crazy lotus flowers, March second.] Shit. [He left the room, walking out to see Kat.]
[Kat watched as Corey rushed back into the room.] Is everything okay?
I have no clue. What is this even worth? [He asks, plucking a drachma out of the bucket and turning it over in his hands. Counting them was tempting, just to see how much he really was in possession of but he couldn’t muster the energy to dump them all over the floor and go through them. Corey didn’t have the sort of 24/7 energy source that Kat did- Probably because he had passed on a lotus this morning. He had figured that someone should remember Kat being this happy, if only for a few days.]
[Kat shrugged, fidgeting with the hem of her oversized sweater. She looked ridiculous, in all honesty, as if a two year old had been stuck in a young adult's body. She just couldn't stop moving around.] I bet it's a lot.
[Corey makes his way down the long hallway with Kat in tow. They had been up all night long in the casino, winning loads and loads of drachmas. Even now his arms were weighed down carrying a bucket full of them. He swiped the keycard and pushed the hotel room door open, setting the bucket down and jumping across the room onto the soft bed. He was exhausted. Crossing his arms behind his head, he watched Kat saunter into the room, still smiling. Now that he thought about it, she didn’t really ever stop. He sighed and sat up, crossing his legs] I can’t believe I never came here before. This place is great.
[Kat stumbled into the room, her arms full of drachmas. Considering her small stature, she would've toppled over if she hadn't been so strong. She set them down and flopped back onto the bed, exhausted, yet full of energy. The girl had this stupid grin on her face that she couldn't seem to shake off.] Me either.. how much money do you think we've made so far?
I don’t think I’ve ever seen you smile this much. [he opens the door to a huge room]
Holy shit..
Sounds great.
Awesome. [she grabs him by the arm and practically drags him to the elevator]
