Since we have our tin foil hats on, I’ll reach for the stars here: what if Galadriel was the one Eru meant for Mairon, but he chose to side with Morgoth before he ever got the chance to meet her in Valinor? And now, Eru is giving Sauron the ultimate “f*ck you, your evil b*tch!” and had them cross paths, knowing full well they could never ever be together? This would go hand in hand with the theory “sea monster was actually Ossë”, sent by Ulmo, the Vala of the sea, to force Galadriel and Sauron’s encounter. Galadriel also seems to acknowledge their meeting wasn’t random, but the work of something greater (= the Gods?). And, so, Sauron did face the judgement of the Valar, after all; by having his true love delivered to him but forever doomed to never be with her, because she’s already bound to another (Celeborn) in the eyes of the Eldar and the Valar. And that’s his punishment/sentence for joining Morgoth and betraying Aman.

Oh my god, I absolutely love it. And it would make sense, I guess ?! Worse, it would be a punishment for her as well, though in a lesser degree because she would at least get a few thousands of years of happiness with Celeborn...

Seriously, if they don't write it for the show, someone needs to write it in a fanfic ! 🙏🏼

Listen - it might be a very unpopular opinion, but I think the Lokius/Sylki dispute has been handled extremely well.

As a Lokius shipper, of course I'm sad about Loki and Mobius not ending up together, but then again, I never actually really expected them to in the first place. It's Marvel after all.

The "for you" with both Loki and Sylvie in the frame was actually a brilliant move. Hear me out - no matter whose side you're on, there are different people in this fandom who want different things and the filmmakers will always try and satisfy as many people as they can. That's just the truth.

I don't think there was any better way to handle it, honestly.

This part pretty much sums up what Loki s2 writers thought about her the entire season: they had no idea what to do with her.

They had an actress so eandering like Sophia, and they completely wasted it.

As much i love Sylvie, this season how it was, could had gone exactly the same without her. They gave her nothing meaningful to do. She could had appear just for the citadel remake scene and nothing would had change.

And for what to do with her next? you guessed! no idea either! let´s literally shrug that off.

She went from key part of the s1 plot, key to Loki change, key to Loki feels something new to him, to just a guest star with no real involvement with anything.

I´m seeing ppl saying she at least had her happy ending. What happy ending?? Being alone and still wondering around how she used to do?

She could had say something like "back to my job, poor Jack has cover me for far too long" With this same smile, and then you would convince me that´s the life she wanted, that she had her happy ending.

The fact that they are probably no plans of doing season 3, makes this worst bc we dont know if we ever gonna see her again.

Loki had an epic ending, dont get me wrong, but she could easily be at his side, meaning he wouldn´t end up alone. She ´s a godess too, "WE ARE gods", she could had appear at his side, like a protector, like a guardian, standing proud besides Loki, with a new epic outift too, and it didnt had to be romantic, if that was what they were so afraid to show. But sadly that meant nothing either.

It’s not just her. All the women in s2 were shafted. Ravonna was left as an afterthought who did all that only to be what? eaten by Alioth? Storylines like Dox/Brad lead to nowhere and could have been scrapped to give screen time to other main characters. Loki’s found family who the show is trying to say he’s doing it all for felt like work colleagues. Like if you’re doing a found family trope at least have the decency to make us care about said family. Let them interact with each other and give them arcs that has stakes to the plot. Mobius, although has the second most screen time is nth but a vehicle for Loki’s character to grow. Same as Sylvie who only serves as Loki’s therapist, an obstacle for him to fight, or another vehicle for him to grow… which came at the expense of all of her s1 characterisations. I was pretty annoyed at the start, but now what I feel for Sylvie’s character is pity. And before anyone argue it is a loki show, I know. But heroes are only as good as the friends who support them. You can’t fully care about the hero’s journey if you don’t give a shit about his friends.
