Kathryn Renée McCormick is a contemporary dancer from Augusta, Georgia. She competed in the sixth season of So You Think You Can Dance and placed third. She became an All-Star on Season 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 of SYTYCD. So as sweet and nostalgic and wonderful as it would have been to have Heidi back doing this number with Travis, it was pretty cool to see Kathryn doing this piece with Travis. Of all the famous SYTYCD routines this has always been the one that has the least re-watchability for me. I appreciate it and I think choreography is great, but I feel the emotion less every time I watch it. So having someone as stunning Kathryn perform it, kinda made me feel it again. Which was very nice.
