Ursa as a Mother to Kenji and Torres
I just realized we never see the mothers of Kenji and Torres, we only see them interacting with their fathers.
And we see how Ursa loses her child in her quest for revenge and that strips her of her will to live, only truly regaining it when she begins seeing Kenji and Torres as her own.
Despite Ursa not fitting into the stereotypical mold of a mother, she is fiercely protective and loving. Fighting as hard as she did against the predator because she wanted to return to her son and save him if she still could and not hesitating to engage the King predator in a fight in order to protect Kenji and Torres, sacrificing herself without a second thought to ensure their escape.
We see two men without a mother and a mother without her child.
The scenes where she sees Anders reflected in Torres and when she tries to save Kenji from the King are everything to me.
