Flute real-talk: I’m preparing for an audition in three weeks, but I’ve been away travelling and living life for over a week (aka not practicing at all). I feel so behind of where I’d like to be, and since I haven’t yet jumped fully back on the practicing horse since getting back, I’m having trouble reminding myself that it’s ok, and that I’m much further along than I think. I’m posting this here on social media because I think I need a little bit of cheerleading! Thoughts of dropping out of the audition have crossed my mind, but I’m not going to do that.
