I doubt Santa will slide down my chimney tonight that naughty list of his has my name stamped firmly I'm not bitter, oh no I've enjoyed every moment of my naughty behaviour but, I'll wait for him just in case laying beneath the Christmas tree wrapped as a present... just for him in nice little ribbons that cover absolutely nothing let him use twinkle lights as bounds for my wrists reflecting sparkles to enhance libido jingling his bells in my face straining the tinsel around my neck, making my cookie cream if he wants some milk, I will give it to him cuming under the cover of night... Solitary in purgatory,

flow before my third eye.

A strong prevailing light,

emanates pockets of passion,

the darkness cries waterfalls,

wrenching unseen wounds,

gripping my name,

drowning is imminent,

heavy mental waves,

dwindle, smothered fight no more.

Sorrow spills from concealed ailments,

as I lay amongst my shattered remains,

crimson drips invisible,

weaving amidst colours of creativity,

red as the fire that threatens to burn,

blue as the sea in the ocean,

gold as the sunlight above,

green and brown as the earth,

humming gently beneath my ruptured soul.

Forest.

Canopy of trees embraced by foliage,

forest floor covered in mud,

a raging torrent from the sky

 cascades down around me

on this cold November eve

A cavern within the wooden land

Invites me to take shelter

I dive deeper, I can hear them clearly

The voices ring out in harmony 

Rain beat down, winds blow cold

People keep away from our land untold

Magic slice the happiness in the air

Stir their demons, turn eyes black as night

Make them fold and quake

Humans beseech beware 

Lost for a thousand years

To all who enter here

Fish out of water

Fish out of water.

Myself and the fish converse:

    “I’m a fish out of water, let me swim.” he whispered one fine afternoon,

“No pools are open today, confines of covid. How about a bath instead?” 

Raising eyebrows high, hoping it will satisfy.

    “Ok, that will do for now. A pool or the ocean is needed, if we are going to survive.”

Soon the bath didn’t cut it and the fish was speaking once more.

     “Give me water, I need water,”

I sigh, 

“How much water does one fish need?”

     “Enough to engulf me… and you.” 

“Me, why me? What did I do?”

The fish did not speak again until I stood by the side of the pool.

    “Come on, dip your toes in. I’m here, let go. Swim, swim, swim.”

Water swirls around me, centering my soul.

    “Let me up, let me up, I’m drowning in despair,”

I huff,

“Your a tattooed fish on my foot, now shut the fuck up, I’m swimming here.”

Shadows.

I stand here on a full moon’s night, 

with shadows of ones once forgotten in daylight. 

come and rest here with me now. 

keeping me warm and holding me tight.

Rope

Rope.

A tight-wound rope,

laid bare for eyes to see,

bend to reach, don’t hesitate, 

snaking hands on skin.

Tantalize fingertips,

hold my very being.

our tender tongues meet,

with a single sexual kiss.

First, grasp the legs,

winding round & round,

adding little knots,

down my naked thighs.

Move up the torso,

around luscious sweet breasts,

the rope tightens around,

closing voids in my chest.

Feelings of hot and heavy,

Next, it’s the wrists,

Cannibal.

Dread the cannibal, 

eating of the same flesh, 

instilling fear in mentations of men,

favoring animals' meat instead, 

no one mention this, however,

Each one cannibalizes themselves.

 Eat from the inside out, 

starting with confidence, 

causing self doubt,

next to go is faith,

leaving malicious intent in its wake,

finally, there is the essence, 

the soul, the spirit, the core.

consuming internally,

until nothing is left,

just empty shells,

nobody dares talk about the cannibal, 

that resides within themselves.

Playground Politics.

The gossip on the playground

Is not done by the kids

As they all stand in their own little click

The kids are all off playing

Doing their own little thing

As the parents 

Give out looks that could kill

And whisper with a snide comment

About how you look

Or what you do.

Some of you people 

could learn a thing or two

From the children that calls you parent

Watch how they laugh and play 

With that kid,

From the family you said was shit

Watch how they dance and sing

As they all walk in.

So the next time your on the playground

Here’s what I think you should do

Be kind to the mum who looks half dead

The one with the kid hanging from her neck

You don’t know what she has been through
