Community organizing in response to the violence of this past week, isn't always coming from traditional sources. Ronald Edwards (center, white t-shirt) says he's never done community organizing before, in fact he's never attended a candle light vigil, but tonight he lead & was the primary speaker at tonight's vigil in front of the White House. Edwards manages social media for a company in Virginia that leases high end apartments, but when his boss suggested a vigil be held for those lost to violence this past week, Edwards ended up in some what of a leadership role at tonight's vigil. Edwards spoke on embracing all individuals from all backgrounds during tough times "#huglife" he said holding up a hand made sign with the slogan as the vigil came to a close.
