I don’t know what Beltane is but since it’s a holiday, I’m going to add this day on the list of my favorite moments of the year along with Christmas and Halloween. Are you excited about your birthday? I know I’m always happy when it’s mine cause people are always ready to party and the feeling of joy coming from it is delightful.

Beltane is such a beautiful time of year. All about love, passion, fire and unity. It’s so beautiful. the celebrations i have been too have made me cry in the past! it’s my favourite holiday, followed closely by halloween! yeah i’m excited, but i’m not excited about the few days after that. you are more than welcome to come!

That sounds like an absolute blast and you can definitely count me in. I can’t say I’ve ever been to a beltane party of any sort so even more of a reason to participate. I’m all for the new experiences especially when it involves friends. You’ll have to tell all about it because I have no idea what I’m doing but that’s part of the fun of it, isn’t it?

beltane parties are a lot of fun. there’s a lot of drink involved that is for sure. usually takes me a few days to recover and quite a few showers due to the smoke of fires and incense, but it’s totally worth it and i’d love to have you there!!

Alright, you lost me just a bit here – what’s Beltane? I take it as that’s a big holiday, since you said that it’s your favorite, but I’m Aussie and have a hard enough time keeping track of our big days plus the ones here in the States. Fill me in, what fun am I missing out on?! Because incense, drinking and going out into the wilderness seems like a good night, to me! I’ll definitely be on the spring trip, I’m super excited to see Joshua Tree.

oh well it’s officially known as may day, however back in the old traditions it’s known as beltane. people used to hold fire festivals and celebrate it as the time where the feminine deity and masculine deity join together as one. in fact i know they still do that some places!!! i’ve been to a few myself and gods it beats any party i’ve been too. i’m so glad to see you on this trip!!

“so guys as you all know its my birthday on the first of may. yep, i am a beltane baby!! not only will i be celebrating my favourite holiday, i will also be throwing a big party. it’ll be a kind of beltane birthday party when i am back from the spring trip. so expect weird stuff, incense, lots of drink of course. will we end up going into the wilderness? probably, because i always want to do things like that when i’ve had a few too many!! but anyone who is going on the trip as well i would love some company with a few as well!”

she was planning to go for a little while now, after finding out daisy was going to be away at the star wars comic con for her birthday, her fantastic plan began to mentally unfold as she planned her tickets to get to comic con, and was she going to go dressed up? damn right she was! before she knew it, she was in public wearing a jedi’s cloak, with her hair tied back and yellow contact lenses. of course she was going to go as female anakin skywalker just after he turns dark. who else would she be? people recognised her of course, especially now she was well known for her role as lena in supergirl, so after taking a few selfies with a few fans, she slipped away to talk to the agents who knew of her surprise. She wasn’t able to carry much with her except a bag that held a cake, which of course had to be checked before she went through. She wasn’t going to disturb her though, she remained in the back with the producers and other actors that were there, waiting to at least catch her eye or wait for her to go back for break.

It’s too nice of a day to sit inside and unpack all these boxes. Anyone know of a good spot to hang, maybe get a beer and just soak up the sun? Mostly for the sake of procrastination, but I also need to find a good “watering hole”… and fast!

Oh well there is a few nice bar’s down the road, but then there are some wonderful pubs with some wonderful beer gardens if that’s more your cup of tea. Definitely a good idea to relax before unpacking, i did that!

That’s such a fun name. I love it. Oh yes. I am right there with you. Between my girlfriend and me, we have four dogs right now. So it’s kind of having kids, except they like to lick your face to wake you up instead of screaming for pancakes.

Four? My gosh i can imagine they are all a handful, and i have heard that they are just as hard as children, but i guess i wont know that until i or if i have any of my own in the future, but loki is like a baby right now. What are the name of your fluff balls?

If you go to at least half of the events in town that’s enough to make a big number of friends and socialize. And the city is gorgeous too. I have a husky and my husband has a dalmatian.
