Falcon by April D Berry

LOVED IT! This book is fantastic. April D Berry stepping into the darker side!! And I’m here for it! The writing is superb. It has action and romance that will keep you on your toes and wanting more. I love the characters! You have the sexy, ‘don’t take no💩’ biker MMC and a tough as nails FMC. She hasn’t exactly had the easiest life. But she does what she can to survive. Until big and sexy comes along. Who is so enamored that he wants to warn her about her employer. And when things go sideways, he helps her and a friend escape. But that just leads to trouble. If you want to know what kind of trouble you’re just going to have to read the book!!!

‘Tis the Season to be Bitten by PS Nail

This was a phenomenal read. There is romance and hope with a bit of angst and spice making it hard to put down. This story made me laugh out loud as well as shed a few tears. It is so heart warming, giving off warm and fuzzy feelings!

If you like reverse age gap, reconnected friendship, friends to lovers, then you will love this story. If you’re just looking for a feel good romance with a paranormal twist, this is a must read!

If she writes it I will read it!

Scorned by Venom by PS Nail

PS Nail has done it again. Scorned by Venom is fantastic!! Her writing is phenomenal! She can weave a story that will not only entertain you but make you feel all the feels. I laughed, cried, and was surprised throughout this entire story. I found myself holding my breath multiple times. She had me on the edge of my seat! This was definitely a ride!!!

I also fell deeper in love with the characters. Sage and Luka are fabulous!! Love their relationship, their connection. Winnie and Lyric are so cute together. I can’t wait to see the development of Peaches and Marcus. Ravage!! I have a super crush on him! You’ll have to read the book to find out why!

I also commend her on her representation to mental health. The FMC has gone through a lot and PS Nail didn’t just touch on it and moved on, she took you into the mind of someone with depression and did it with grace and finesse. She also showed the FMC taking medication to help with the depression which is unheard of in books. But so needed.

A must read!!!

Taste of Temptation by Liz Zerkel

This was such a great read! Liz Zerkel is definitely an author that I am needing more from. Her writing is fantastic. The story flows seamlessly. It’s an easy read, sweet, intriguing, funny, and perfect! It will make your heart flutter! I love seeing the relationships between all the characters as well as the main characters. Even though they are not main characters in this book they are very much part of the story. And I love them all! Liz Zerkel is becoming one of my favorite authors to read.

Fox - Extended - by DJ Krimmer

I loved the original Fox but this just was icing on the cake! The angst, the banter, the dynamics…freaking amazing. The spice got spicier! DJ Krimmer knows how to write a story that keeps you interested and amused. She is one of my one click and buy authors! I know if she writes it, it will be fantastic!

Wisdom of Fates by MJ Colgan and AC Lawlor

The fates are finicky arent they. This was such a great series! Like the first and second book, the writing was excellent. I loved the characters from the start and this book just cemented them in my heart. Through all that was tossed at them they never questioned the bond they formed and it was beautiful!

If your looking for a great fantasy that is action packed, a beautiful relationship with 3 sexy faes, twists and turns that will keep you wanting more, then this series is for you. This book brings everything to a conclusion that may bring on some smiles as well as some tears but you will enjoy every moment!

Heir of Shadow and Ice by JM Wallace

I listened to the audiobook in tandem with reading the book. This review is for both the audiobook and book.

WOW! First, the story is fantastic! I didn’t want to stop listening/reading. I was on the edge of my seat! There was a lot going on and with all the twists and turns, it all came to a very intriguing and climactic ending! Making me wanting more!

Second, the narration was phenomenal. Ali’s voices was easily distinguishable between characters. And she had quite a few characters to do! She does a fantastic job of making you feel the emotions of the characters and bringing them to life. I’ve listened to several other audiobooks that she narrated and I know when I see her name it will be a great audiobook.

Riot by RK Pierce

This book was so good! I love a sassy FMC. I love that, despite her fears, she faces her issues head on. And boy does she have issues with these two MMC’s.

I highly enjoy RK Pierce’s writing. I find it to be easy and fun. Her characters are always intriguing or exasperating. Sometimes both, as with these characters! I can’t wait to see what the other members of Rhage get into!

Love Sick Anthology by 13 Authors

If you’re looking for some short, spicy stories, look no further. These stories will definitely get your clitterflies going! Individually all the stories were either a 4 or 5 star. There is an array of different romance types. All ending with a HEA or a HFN (happy for now). I love anthologies because I get to check out authors I’ve not read before. And the fact they are donating the proceeds to the Trevor Project is just icing on the cake.

A Bucket List Birthday by Emmie J. Holland

This was a fantastic, sweet and romantic story with some giggles thrown in! The adventures they went on was a great idea! I think I smiled throughout the entire book! The characters are adorable and relatable. I fell in love with them instantly! I call dibs on Griffin as my book boyfriend!!

This was another great read by Emmie J. Holland! Her writing was easy and intriguing. The story flowed seamlessly. She made me want a Griffin of my own!! Although the story was light and fun, it does have a bit of a sad moment but the way the characters handled things with such heart and a healthy interaction made my heart happy.

April D. Berry is testing the waters of the pool called paranormal romance. And I am here for it!! This fated mates, shifter romance is fantastic! I fell in love with the characters on page one! Even the side characters are amazing. As true friendships are shown as well. Loved seeing that! The writing is superb. The story flowed nicely. She definitely threw in a few plot twists to keep you on your toes! Go get this book! Did you see that cover?!?

The Witch is Dead by Geneva Monroe

This book is phenomenal!! Definitely a must read! Geneva took a classic children’s story and made it her own adult story. And a why choose at that!! But following the basis of the original.

This story has it all. It has action, trauma, hope, doubt, and love. It has twist and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Characters that you will fall in love with and want to smack at the same time. Geneva definitely knows how to weave a story that will make you feel all the feels and pulls you in from the beginning. She is the perfect story teller!! If you haven’t discovered Geneva Monroe, stop what you’re doing and check out her books.

Awakening the Forgotten Goddess by Rebekah Sinclair

I don’t know where to start this review. The book is an emotional roller coaster ride. The good, the bad and everything in between. It was fantastic! There is so much depth to this story and the FMC and it’s executed so well!

Rebekah’s writing is exceptional! She weaves a story that is complex but will keep you intrigued and on your toes. She will have you falling in love with the good guys and despising the bad guys.

If you are wanting a great story that has all the twists and turns, adventure and trauma, and all the feels, this story is for you! There is some sensitive content so check your trigger warnings.

Beneath the Wisteria by PS Nail

Well this story made me fall in love with Val all over again. And if you haven’t fallen in love with Val then you need to read Violet Flames and then Emerald Skies! You will not only fall for Val but I guarantee you will fall for an angel too! But I call dibs on Zayn!

Besides this amazing story being in this anthology, there are 11 others stories by amazing authors. They decided to donate the profits to the National Alliance of Mental Illness. So go and get it to support this great cause but these amazing authors!!

Loved this story. Max is a former ex monster hunter. And he hates them even more when he had lost his love to one. Vex is a monster that caught Max’s scent on their one time to the human realm and believed they found their mate. Can Vex change Max’s mind about monsters and fate?

I love this story!I know I said that already but it’s worth mention again. I can’t wait to put it on my shelf. The writing is fantastic. It keeps you intrigued and wanting more. The characters are great and their dynamic is off the charts! Vex is the dream partner! If you love enemies to lovers and fated mates, you’ll love this story. A perfect Valentine read!

This story is fantastic! It’s short and sweet with a bit of spice. The characters are adorable and relatable. So much so the FMC reminds me of someone specific. 🤔 hmmm…

Your Soul is Ours by Tanya Lynn

Wow. Just wow. This story is a devastating, beautiful, tragic, dark romance. It brought out so many feelings to sort through before I could type this review. The romance is beautiful in a dark twisted way. With Sebastian being an unaliver, and the things he does to show his love. But with Marla’s traumatic past, can she get past her darkness and let him in?

Before you start this book, check your trigger warnings. This book touches on a lot of sensitive issues including self unaliving thoughts, self harm, serial unaliving, and narcissistic parent abuse to name a few.

Overall a really good, intense story.
