My little lesson for the day--

I went to Mass this morning in Honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus with my family and my boyfriend. For the first time in my life, I knew God had a plan for me if I could just open my heart more. I've made so many mistakes and he shows me through trials and challenges how I have to change to be better for Him. The only way God can save me is through is love and mercy. Just thinking about it, God loves me so much that he did on the cross for us and how else can I repay the love he gave me by following His will. I will only find happiness that way :)There is so much to be thankful for.

One of the things I challenged myself with my boyfriend as well as some of my close friends at CUA is trying to go to mass for 9 consecutive months in honor of the Sacred Heart, which my parents did, and my lola and lolo did in the Philippines. Wow, that's three generations of love that God brought is love through the Sacred Heart. God has bless our family so tremendously!!

Here are the 12 Promises from Jesus to St. Margaret for those who honor his Sacred Heart for 9 Month Devotion <3 You won't regret it! 

I will give them all the graces necessary in their state of life.

I will give peace in their families and will unite families that are divided.

I will console them in all their troubles.

I will be their refuge during  life and above all in death.

I will bestow the blessings of Heaven on all their enterprises.

Sinners shall find in my Heart the source and infinite ocean of mercy.

Tepid souls shall become fervent.

Fervent souls shall rise quickly to great perfection.

I will bless those places wherein the image of My Heart shall be exposed and honored and will imprint My love on the hearts of those who would wear this image on their person. I will also destroy in them all disordered movements.

I will give to priests who are animated by a tender devotion to my Divine Heart the gift of touching the most hardened hearts.

Those who promote this devotion shall have their names written in my Heart, never to be effaced.

I promise you in the excessive mercy of my Heart that my all-powerful love will grant to all those who communicate on the First Friday in nine consecutive months, the grace of final penitence: they will not die in my disgrace, nor without receiving their Sacraments. My Divine Heart shall be their safe refuge in this last moment. 

You won't regret trying to find God and his love through the devotion of the Sacred Heart <3

Prayer before Exams

Here's to the First Day of Exams, the First of May, and the First of many knock-them-dead exams before senior year to come :) 

Dear Jesus, today I will have my examination,

You know how important they are to me. So I am humbly asking Your gracious help and divine assistance. I pray to You, my dear Jesus, please never let me panic nor get nervous, just let me be at ease and give my very best. Please never let me guess nor rely on pure luck, but enlighten my mind and let me think clearly. Please never let me resort to chances nor to dishonesty, but let me work to the fullest of my ability. I pray for Your guidance that as I think, I may find the right solutions I may be able to correctly answer the questions, I may solve those difficult problems. I ask, O Lord, Your intercession, that as I write, I may not be careless nor overconfident, I may not be distracted but be more concentrated. I may not be in a hurry nor take the exams too lightly. Today, O my Jesus, I will take my examinations Let me, with Your help, give my best effort, Let me, because of You, receive the best and fruitful results. Amen
