Sayaka awaited her response about the tutor idea. She thought that it was great to have someone to help you with your work. No one ever talked bad about someone who asked for help when they needed it. If they had, she had not heard of such. Most idol girls had tutors anyway since a lot of them didn't attend a proper high school. She was one of few girls who actually did. That was just to get into Hope’s Peak though. She tilted her head and looked confused about her stern answer. “No?” That was surprising. Didn't designers also have tutors? Sayaka wasn’t entirely sure how that worked as she wasn't that familiar with the fashion industry. 

Her face lit up when Katsu seemed to have changed her mind about the idea. “Eh? Oh hm…well there are lots of smart people in this school! I bet you could even ask one of your friends to help you out eh?” She smiled happily at the girl. “I have my friend Hinata-kun tutoring me every now and then! He actually helps me out with difficult math problems.” Sayaka realized that she had not seen her friend in a while, and that there was a test coming up soon. She should maybe talk to him about that soon! She was getting off track here in terms of her thoughts. “I think you can ask the teacher if you need extra help. They will find you someone to help you! I wish I could help you more Kimura-san.” She frowned at herself, wishing that she understood math a little better.

Katsu had never gotten a tutor before. In the past, she would simply find an excuse as to why she didn't do the work, or she would just ask someone to do it for her. She wasn't a big fan of school, after all. Plus, she could just ask her parents for help, right? They were smart enough to understand- probably. But, perhaps she could give the tutor thing a try, just for a little bit. If the tutor ended up being someone unsatisfactory, then she could just say she didn't need help anymore.

Friends. Right. It was her first day of school, and she had only spoken to Sayaka, the principal, and her teachers. And Sayaka didn't seem much help at the moment. Katsu smiled at the word 'he'. Maybe the tutor would end up being cute! "I'd be delighted to meet him." She replied, still smiling. "It's alright. These problems are pretty hard, after all." Right then, Katsu decided that she would save the problem for later. She shut her book closed, then turned to Sayaka. "Perhaps you can help me. Do you think you could show me around? So I can actually find my classes?"

Asuka didn’t reply as she was collecting the textbooks. Having labelled Katsu as a snarky person, it was impossible to forget it unless a change of heart from the other party could overwrite the current label. But obviously, that wasn’t going to happen anytime soon.

She didn’t notice that the textbook had slipped from Katsu’s hand. Before she could respond, the textbook hit her head pretty hard. Even before her mind could recognize the problem, Asuka fainted. For 5 seconds, she simply lay unconscious in the floor. After that though…

'YAAAAHHHHHOOOOO! I'm free!' Asuka's seemingly comatose body jerked up like a jumping jack, alive and full of energy, screeching in celebration of its awakening. 'Yeeesh, why you gotta keep me all trapped up in that head of knowledge, Asuka? You're so horribly mean!' She stretched her arms out as if waking up from a long nap.

Immediately, she turned around, grabbed Katsu’s hand and shook it up and down like a ragdoll, with so much force it was as if she was going to yank it off. ‘Thank you soooooo much for getting me out of Asuka!’ She giggled in glee. ‘You have nooooooo idea how long she’s kept me stuffed in that head of hers.’

'Ah, right! I'm Lunara, Super High School Level…' Lunara spun on her toes and stretched her arms out in celebration. 'Joy!' She followed up with rich laughter, one that lasted for about a full minute. 'You were Katsu Kimura…right?' She scratched her head, trying to remember. Unlike Asuka, Lunara didn't have the same photographic memory. In comparison, she was quite stupid too.

'I know! I'll call you Porky! You know, pork katsu?' Lunara's hand shot up to her head as she let out another round of hysterical laughter. Goodness, this would be overwhelming to anyone with such a sudden change from Asuka's silent personality to Lunara's superfluously loud one.

Katsu's eyes widened once the girl fainted. Oh God. Was she okay? She bent near her, shaking slightly. How do you wake someone up? She should've paid attention in health. Panicking, Katsu poked the side of the girl's face. "FFUCK!" She yelled, jumping back in surprise. She scooted away from the now animated body, hand over her heart and eyes wide. What just happened? Her heart was still pounding very quickly.

Slowly, she stood up, and started backing away. Suddenly, she felt the girl grab her hand, and before she knew it, started shaking it at lightning speed. "Let go of me!" She demanded, snatching her hand away from her ans glaring at the girl. She was still wary and uncertain of her, considering what had just happened. 

"Super High-School Level... joy?" She repeated incredulously. She had heard of good luck, even a hall monitor! But joy? Was that even a talent? She jumped back at the girl's spin, staring at her with a dumb-founded look on her face. Was this the same girl she had encountered 5 minutes ago? The same one with the monotone voice and the horribly boring attitude? "Yeah.." She answered slowly.

At the next sentence, Katsu narrowed her eyes and she took a step near the girl. "You will not call me porky." She said simply. She only became more annoyed at the laughter that was coming from her mouth. "God, you're annoying!"

Sayaka smiled at her as she agreed. She did notice just how fake that smile was. It might not have been fake, but it was one of those smiles that people just kept on their face when they weren't being the most sincere. Sayaka knew that face entirely too well. She just nodded along with her as of right now. She could tell that something was running through the designer’s mind, but she wasn’t sure just what it was. She shook off those thoughts and focused back on helping her with math.

She looked at the book and nodded slowly. “Oh, right! Perhaps the formula is somewhere in the book? Just..not right here. Hm…If it was me, I would check online!” She giggled. She checked most of the things online because she never payed attention in class, unless it was a class she enjoyed. Then again, she would always be texting no matter what. She had a serious texting problem. She spoke up again. “Well…I have a friend that is willing to tutor me, perhaps that would help you?” She smiled at her cheerfully. “I might have brought him up already. I apologize if I am repeating myself!” She honestly couldn’t remember if she had mentioned getting a tutor or not. It was honestly the best advice she could find in her head at the moment.

Katsu immediately dropped the smile after a moment. Being so perky was so tiring. How did girls do it? She was intent with speaking her feelings on people, no matter how harsh, or true they were. Sure, she wanted a good reputation, by why should she gain it by acting sweet? The only way to make it was to produce quality clothes. Not to be nice to ditzy classmates. Still, she managed a neutral look and turned to the textbook.

Katsu tapped her finger against her chin, staring at the page. Why did they make math so hard? Why couldn't they just put all the formulas on one page? When was she ever going to use this? Those were questions Katsu wanted to be answered. Nodding slowly, she looked up at Sayaka. "Good idea. I'll check when I get back to my dorm." But the next sentence that came out of Sayaka's mouth made Katsu frown. "No." She answered simply, not removing her frown. She didn't even offer an explanation to her answer. If there was one thing she was sure of, it was that Katsu Kimura was not getting a tutor. Well... unless the tutor was cute. Maybe then she'd consider it. "You haven't brought it up." She answered, sighing on the inside. "And about the tutor.. I guess I depends who it is." Hopefully a cute boy.

Asuka cringed until all the books had fallen to the ground. Hearing the annoyed voice of the girl in front of her, she returned her emotionless expression and got up to meet the other party’s gaze. Brushing off any non-existent dust from her cloak, she began to relay information about the girl, completely ignoring her question.

'Katsu Kimura.' Asuka began with her robotic voice. 'Super High School Level Fashion Designer. Height and weight as of entry into Hope's Peak: 164 cm, 54 kg. Blood type A. Born September 10th.' She continued to relay information that Katsu already knew about herself, her career, everything she knew to the finest detail…until she stopped suddenly.

'Not important.' She mumbled to herself. Asuka proceeded to bend down and collect the fallen textbooks. 'Information inference. Katsu Kimura is a snarky individual.' She muttered.

"How cou-" Katsu opened her mouth to reprimand the girl, then quickly shut it. With every word out of the girl's mouth, her eyes got wider and wider, hands dropping to her sides and dangling. When she managed to get herself together again, her eyes narrowed. "What are you, some kind of Super High-School Level Stalker, or something?" She scoffed. "Wow. Creepy, much?"

At the last sentence, Katsu tensed, and stared down at the girl. "Excuse me, what was that?" She knew what she had said, of course. She just wanted to make the girl say it again. "Do you know who you're talking to?" Obviously, the girl did. And much more. Seriously, how could she even know that much stuff about her? Her exact weight? Her exact height? It honestly creeped Katsu out. Immensely. 

She bent down and snatched one of the textbooks up, glaring at the girl on the ground. "Snarky?" She repeated, dangling the book from her fingers. "I'll show you snarky." Without meaning to, the book fell loose from her hands, dropping on the girl with a thud. Suddenly, a concerned expression crossed Katsu's face, and she bent down to see if the girl was alright. "That was an accident, I swear!"

Asuka went through each class bored. She never showed it in front of anyone, but being fed the same information over and over again was becoming an insult to the Super High School Level Information Broker, considering that she couldn’t forget anything. Life at Hope’s Peak wasn’t as interesting as she initially thought, but not every piece of information had been recorded, so Asuka just held on for longer. Maybe something would turn around.

As soon as class ended, Asuka briskly took her leave from the classroom. It wasn’t long before she was stopped by the teacher to help carry some textbooks back to a storeroom. Obviously, she didn’t have a say in it, so she reluctantly agreed. Since Asuka knew too well that she wasn’t very strong, she placed the textbooks carefully on her head and balanced it with her hands.

While walking down the corridor, she felt weighed down. The Sword Art Online incident had sapped up much of her physical strength, and although she had gone through rehab, her body was still frail. Asuka gripped the textbooks on her head tighter.

Dammit Kayaba Akihiko.

Lost in her hatred for the man, Asuka was unaware of the girl she had bumped into. Her thoughts everywhere and coordination horrible, she fell butt-first on the floor and quickly covered her head as the textbooks fell to the ground.

She wasn’t prepared to let Lunara out on such an idiotic event such as this.

Boring. Everything was boring.

Those were the only thoughts going through Katsu's head that afternoon. All through geometry, economics, social studies, all of her classes, she hadn't listened to a single word the teacher said. This school was hopelessly, horribly, boring. She hadn't learned anything to her liking yet, and no activities were held. Even at her old school things were more exciting. At least people had the decency to talk to her in science. When she had tried starting a conversation with her lab partner, he simply gave her a dirty look and looked at the teacher. Fucking nerd.

Once her last class of the day was finished, Katsu jumped up eagerly and snatched her books from the desk. Finally, it was over. One more minute in that class and she would've been driven insane. Without giving the classroom another look, she walked quickly out. 

Once free from the class, she wanted nothing more than to get back in her dorm and take a nap. With a jolt of panic, she realized she forgot to bring her map. Dammit Katsu, now how are you going to get back to your dorm? This school was like a maze, and she seemed to get trapped in it every day. She glanced around frantically, trying to figure out which way to go.

She took a deep breath, and headed left. Walking down the hallway, Katsu noticed another girl walking near her. "Um, excuse me." She said loudly, trying to get the girl to notice her. She stopped in her tracks and folded her arms, expecting the girl to stop and ask her what she wanted. Instead, she got a faceful of books. "Eh?!" She let out, jumping back so she wouldn't get hit by the books. "Didn't you see me?" She demanded to the girl on the ground.

Touko sighed. Did she really have to explain everything to this girl? Did she really think that Touko didn’t know? Without looking back at her, she spoke, her tone of voice bitter and spiteful.

"D-don’t say such… stupid things. Why would anyone sit near me w-without slitting their own throats if it wasn’t t-to make fun of me for being horrible and ugly?"

Katsu whipped her head around to glare at the girl, growing more irritated by the second. "Shut up." She demanded, tone sharp and eyes narrowed, "You're annoying. Don't make me repeat myself one more time. I came over here because you were the only person who didn't look completely idiotic. Not because I wanted to insult you." She huffed, crossing her arms. "Although now I'm beginning to want to."

That being said, Katsu picked up her pencil once more, and continued working on her homework. Scrawling the question out, she pondered on how to go about solving it for a moment.

Sayaka looked a little confused once the designer just randomly mentioned about not lying. Where did that come from? She wasn’t accusing her of lying at all…Maybe she just wanted to justify that it was in fact a compliment. Still, the way she put it made her seem almost defensive. She smiled regardless though and nodded. “Of course! You would have no reason to lie to me. After all, we just met!” She giggled again. Sayaka could think of a few reasons why a designer could lie. She had dealt with a few rude designers in the past, and hopefully Katsu wasn’t like those people at all!

"Oh…only half? What about the other half?" She felt a little bad about not being able to help with that math. But, this girl was in a different math class! There was no way that she could have known that sorts of stuff. Or maybe…their class was just behind the designer’s. That could be it too. Sayaka noticed Katsu’s pouting. She giggled a little and smiled. "I bet you do not want to do this math work at all, eh? Homework is not fun at all. I don’t enjoy doing it either…" She thought to herself back to her first day here, and how she had more work than she thought she would. Maybe she had just gotten used to it by now, but she was sure they lightened her load just a bit.

Katsu smiled sweetly at the girl, folding her hands together and placing them on the table. She had no reason to, but of course she did anyway. As long as no harm was done, it was perfectly innocent, right? "Right." She answered, the same smile still plastered on her face. If she showed no signs of being guilty, then no one would know a thing. I should become and actress, She thought to herself, I would be the best there was. Everyone would love me. But alas, she had became a designer instead.

"The other half requires a different formula." She answered, still writing out the problem, "One that I don't know yet. Perhaps I could tell the teacher I didn't understand it." Or that I didn't get that far at my old school. It was the first day, after all. Who would expect a student to be able to do this on their first day? Katsu glanced at the girl, biting back a retort. Obviously she didn't want to do this. Only the most horrible people thought that homework was fun. The people who wanted extra work, or the people who reminded the teacher she didn't collect homework. Katsu only shook her head in response.

Oh god finally. His hand weakened on the tape measure, and it hung slack in his fingers. As he stood up, he noticed that the girl was smirking. She was enjoying herself wasn’t she? Just great.

Togami arched his back, and heard cracking noises. “No.” Crack. “I’m not that busy,” Pop. “Especially when it involves something to my benefit.” Once he was finished aligning his spine again, he looked towards the door. “My design book is in my locker. Let’s go.”

Katsu cringed at the sounds coming from his back. He hadn't been standing there too long, had he? She closed her eyes tightly until he was done stretching. "First of all, that was gross." She started, picking up her clipboard and pencil, "Second of all, I just have to pack up first and then we can go."

She pushed the mannequin over to the corner of the room, carefully draping a tarp over it. Once done with that, she glanced around the room to see if anything else was to be done. Satisfied, she turned to Togami. "Ready."

Sayaka beamed when she mentioned that she thought it was the work of an actual designer. “Thank you very much…That means a lot coming from a famous designer herself!” She giggled and smiled again. Of course, there were different versions of that dress. It had been altered a few times by various people. But, it was still similar to how it had originally been!

Sayaka waited nervously for the girl to read over the page. She really hoped that what she had said made sense. She looked a little surprised when Katsu said she had helped her out. Maybe she was better at math than she had thought she was! No, no she wasn’t. She just had a strike of luck. “It seems like it! That should help you up setting up the next few problems! Or all of them perhaps?” She certainly hoped so. Sayaka wasn’t quite sure she could explain how to do anything else unless it was finding some formula again for her.

Katsu smiled genuinely at Sayaka, and gave her a small thumbs up. "You're welcome." She replied, crossing her legs and placing her hands on either side of her, hiding crossed fingers on her left hand. "I don't lie, after all." That was a lie in itself. In fact, she lied more than most people she knew. Those people didn't know that, of course. No one was meant to.

Katsu raised her eyebrows slightly, seeing the mild surprise on the idol's face. Was she not used to being right? Or did she just not understand the whole thing at all? Either way, she had still helped Katsu. "I think it helps me on about half." She answered, eying the textbook and pouting a little. She was not in the mood to do the math. She was also feeling a little stupid for not noticing the reference page with the formulas. How could she have missed that? Her pout only deepened at the thought of Sayaka finding something she hadn't.

Touko averted her eyes, staring at the floor with a glum expression on her face. She knew that the girl was making fun of her, not that there was any need to make any joke when she was already a joke, already something worth laughing at in and of herself

Hearing the title, Touko scowled slightly. “D-don’t act like you’re here f-for any other reason than to make fun of me… I know how it is…”

Katsu rolled her eyes, crossing her arms and frowning. "You sure are persistent aren't you?" She was confused as to why the other girl was so self-conscious. Perhaps people had been mean to her before? By looking at her, Katsu decided that was the case. Seriously, she dressed so gloomy.

"Why are you so stubborn?" She asked bluntly, not looking away from Fukawa. "Did I stutter? Didn't I already say I was over here to study?" That being said, She uncrossed her arms and turned her head away from the other girl. This was getting annoying.

This was the most that Togami had had to wait for someone before, and it was starting to get to him. He began to fidget more and more, trying not to confront her about it. The view of the back of a mannequin isn’t one that anyone should desire.

Togami peered over the mannequin slightly to answer her question. “I do not. I had just put them away right about when you asked me to help you.”

Katsu grinned slightly, seeing the boy's movements out of the corner of her eye. "I'm finished with the measurements, by the way." She said, not bothering to look up at him, "You don't have to stay back there." Once she was done scrawling the information down, she placed it beside her and looked up at Togami.

"If you're not terribly busy, I could check out the designs now." She shrugged, crossing her arms. "If you're not 'in the mood', maybe some other time." She was interested in seeing what Togami had come up with. Who knows, maybe it could be quality.

Sayaka giggled and smiled. She could tell just how surprised the designer was. “Thank you! I didn’t do it all by myself though…My idol friends and I all designed matching outfits at once. I mainly did the colors and the basic things. I am no where near as talented as a true fashion designer!” She smiled again. They had done those basic designs at a really young age, and slowly just kept improving them until they became real. That was such a great memory too! 

"Oh! Okay!" Sayaka smiled happily, thinking she could at least figure out just how to help her set up the problems here. "I understand though, math problems can be complex. That’s why I’m very happy there are people in this school willing to tutor you!" She giggled before focusing on the book. She had a finger on her chin as she skimmed the chapter. She tilted her head as she came across the problem. She wasn’t..entirely sure how to do this, but she could try to help her at the very least. "Okay! Well…let’s see…earlier in the chapter..the section before the actual work, you see?" She pointed at a section in the book. "It looks like this here helps you set things up?! Or..it should…it looks like it is showing you how to do a problem here!" She hoped that sounded right…and semi-smart.

"Oh, that makes sense." It still was impressive, and Katsu couldn't help but gain a bit of respect for the idol. "You should take some pride in it; I thought it to be the work of an actual designer." She smiled at Sayaka, folding her hands together and placing them in her lap. She took the comment as a compliment.

She leaned forward and scimmed the page of the textbook, growing more and more frustrated by the minute. When was she ever going to need this stuff, anyway? Algebra she could understand, but not this! Of course, she'd never ask for a tutor. There was no way she was willing to swallow her pride and admit she was having troubles. When Sayaka pointed at a part of a page, Katsu glanced down at the spot and read, a smile slowly forming on her face. "Oh, so that's the formula!" She picked up her pencil and copied it down in her notebook.

Perfect. He would have another student who could actually help him look over his designs. Just holding a measuring tape for a few minutes was well worth it. He smiled slightly at this. “Much obliged.”

Though she didn’t really need to tell him where the measuring tape needed to go, he didn’t say anything. His hands moved carefully along the length of the vest, bringing the tape with it. Once he had finished with that, he remained in place and then waited for her to finish her measurements. His legs had begun to get sore from staying in one position for so long so he wanted to be able to finish this up quickly.

Katsu grabbed her pencil and peered at the measuring tape. It was the last measurement she needed, and then she could send it in to her manager to look over. The promise of a brand new clothing line made her so excited, she couldn't help but grin at the thought.

While she was scribbling the measurements down, she spoke to the boy without looking up. "Do you happen to have any of your designs with you?" The sooner she looked at them, the sooner she could start helping him create it.

Though Togami was pretty sure that she had finished with her measurements, he wasn’t sure if he still needed to be holding the tape. With this uncertainty in mind he remained where he was. Better safe than sorry he supposed.

At least she didn’t completely shoot down his offer. It was her High School Level though, so it made sense. Clearing his throat, he said, “I design my own clothes like the ones that I am currently wearing. Though I normally design suits, there are the occasional dresses mixed in there.”

Katsu tapped her pencil gently against her chin, eyeing Togami as she thought. She did owe him a favor, but she'd have to order more fabrics and such, and it'd be a huge hassle if she took on the project. She sighed, putting her pencil down. "Sure, I'll take a look." After all, if he had really designed the suit he was wearing, he obviously had good taste.

"Oh, I need to measure one more thing." She placed the clipboard beside her and came closer to the mannequin. "How long it is." She pointed in order to demonstrate. She pointed to to the top of the vest to the bottom, and then looked up at the boy expectantly.

When the girl leaned over to look at Touko’s writing, she looked away, a gloomy expression on her face. “D…don’t think I didn’t see you… I know you’re just looking at my draft s-so you can laugh at it later, aren’t you?”

Katsu smiled sweetly, putting her hands up in a mocking fashion, her voice in fake distress. "Oh, no! You've caught me red-handed, huh?" She put her hands down, expression returning to one of amusement. "I was actually just curious to see what the 'Super High-School Level Literary Girl' was working on this time."

She sighed, turning away from the girl. Her lack of self-confidence was starting to get on her nerves. Without bothering looking at her, she continued speaking. "If I'm going to hate you, I've got to make sure you know who I am. My name is Katsu Kimura, Super High-School Level Fashion Designer."
