If you really do love your fish, I’d recommend getting him a proper living setup please! A little bowl with no filter or heater is going to lead him to feeling sick and cold all the time, and it will reduce his lifespan. Kai-ni has a lot of great betta resources and info about tank cycling (extremely important for keeping any sort of aquatic) and many other resources on food, etc. Please show him you care by giving him proper care!

as you can see he is not in a small tank and he is a healthy betta. he blows bubbles, eats his food and sometimes gets excited when i come home from work to feed him. Gif not good enough for you?? dont fear here a picture

Im aware betta shouldn’t be in small places there was a reason i bought him and there is a reason i want more, of course in separate tank. He is the first betta i ever owned so please dont get mad at me trying my hardest on the first time of the job. ask before you make assumption please. 

also the comic i drew was my reaction of when i first bought him. at first yes he was in a smaller tank because i couldnt afford everything at once but as you can see i put some money to the side and bought him plants, filter, heater, decor, water purifier, and food and of course this giant tank for him.

but anyways thank you for the concerns on my fish he’s alive and well

But some people do still keep their poor fish in a little "betta box" less than 0.5gal. It's infuriating to hear about it or see it with owners defending themselves with "I got it in a bottle! It's fine! It's just a fish anyway"
